Kate Beckinsale kicked off 2020 with a bang. The "Pearl Harbor" actress made headlines for her outfit alone, although 46-year-old Kate managed to make it double trouble in the press by going ahead and kissing a girlfriend on video over the New Year.

Kate attended a New Year's Eve bash at Hollywood's celeb-adored Delilah's, hitting up the party in a feathered and barely-there crop top – if anything won points for flashing an outrageous amount of side-boob, it was this outfit. The actress paired her cleavage-flaunting top with a sexy and knee-length PVC skirt, plus a pair of dagger stiletto heels.

Kate was photographed mingling with a crowd at Delilah's although eyes were likely on that crop top. The Kardashians may rock skin-tight tube tops in leather (and Kate herself has done similar), but not many starlets will step out in an outfit pushing this many boundaries. Nonetheless, Kate looked incredible – this star always does.

Following her partying, Kate took to Instagram to share a video of herself kissing friend Parker Miller. It wasn't the world's raunchiest kiss, but it likely did it for Kate's fans.

Kate only has 3.7 million followers, but something about this star's hilarious or often-raunchy updates always manages to rake in the engagement.

Kate's video had racked up over 1 million views within 10 hours of going live. Of course, Instagram-stalking queen Lisa Rinna noticed it: the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star left Kate a like.

Kate had mentioned the kiss in a roundabout way via her caption.

"Happy New Year everyone. May your new year kiss be with someone as committed to oral hygeiene as mine was."

Fans also seemed to have plenty of thoughts to the video.

"Lesbian," one fan wrote.

"Ooo spidey," the star replied, referring to the user's "Spider-Man" profile pic.

"Your armpit looks so clean" was another comment.

Of course, Kate's fans had picked up on the oral hygiene remark, with one fan using it in a humorous way.

"I don’t mean to ‘toot my own horn’ nor out do you but after a solid flossing session at 1157pm I was approached by a rather vivacious orthodontist," they wrote.
