It sounds like actor Chris Evans is ready to leave the bachelor life behind him!

Although he's best known to fans for portraying Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it seems the "Avengers" actor is looking to settle down and start a family!

And, apparently, he is "laser focused" on trying to find the right person!

As Page Six reported, Chris Evans, 31, is starring in the upcoming Netflix movie, "The Gray Man." In the movie, he stars as an assassin obsessed with tracking down his target, who is played by Ryan Gosling.

While his character is "laser focused," on his mission, Evans revealed that he is "laser focused" on finding a partner to spend his life with in an interview with Shondaland published on Friday.

When asked if he's searching for something so intensely in his own life, Evans joked that he was “gonna give [the interviewer] a good answer.”

“The answer would be that maybe [I’m] laser-focused on finding a partner, you know, someone that you want to live with,” he said, adding that it's pretty difficult to make a genuine love match in Hollywood.

“I mean, look — I love what I do. It’s great; I pour all of myself into it," he said. "But in terms of — even this industry is full of pockets of doubt, hesitation, and recalibration in terms of really trying to find someone that you really can pour all of yourself into."

“Maybe it’s about trying to find someone that you’re looking to spend your life with," he added. "Yes, so maybe it’s that.”

Chris Evans Is Still On Good Terms With His Ex, Jenny Slate

Evans met Jenny Slate on the set of their 2017 "Gifted" and immediately hit it off. However, by March 2018, the relationship had already come to an end. Fortunately, it seems there's no ill will or bad blood between the former couple.

Around the time of their split, a source told Us Weekly that “Chris feels neutral towards Jenny Slate and holds no bad feelings towards her,” adding that he "is happy for her.”

In April 2018, Slate also had positive things to say about Evans in an interview with Vulture.

“What’s the same about us is not just that we’re from Massachusetts, which was such a delight, but Chris is truly one of the kindest people I’ve ever met, to the point where sometimes I would look at him and it would kind of break my heart,” she said.

“He’s like primary colors," she continued. "He has beautiful, big, strong emotions, and he’s really sure of them. It’s just wonderful to be around. His heart is probably golden-colored, if you could paint it.”

Evans had previously been linked to Jessica Biel and Minka Kelly. Most, recently, though he was rumored to be involved with singer Selena Gomez last November after she wore a white chunky cable knit sweater similar to the one Evans wore in "Knives Out."

In a recent interview with MTV News, Evans admitted that he can feel overwhelmed by anxiety sometimes, just like anyone else. He described his feelings as "living outside of the moment, studying the past, and thinking about the future."

He explained that he felt overwhelmed mostly at the beginning of his career when he was just getting started as an actor. However, now that he has earned his keep in the Marvel blockbuster franchise, he's learned how to better deal with anxiety coming his way.

"So over ten years of making these movies and being forced to do big-stage sort of things, you realize that a lot of the fears you had never really do come to fruition," he said, adding, "And look even if they do, I've had some things that haven't always gone the way I wanted to, when you choose to not dwell on them, to look for them, to read or absorb them, they do disappear."

Even though he's best known for his role in the MCU, Chris Evans revealed that he'd love to hop over into another Disney property: Star Wars. He recently revealed what character he'd love to play if he were to ever appear in a galaxy far, far away.
