Taylor Swift Spotted Without Ring On London Date Day With Joe Alwyn

Singer Taylor Swift and her boyfriend, British actor Joe Alwyn, were recently spotted stepping out for a date together in London.

Fans couldn't help but notice that the "You Belong With Me" singer wasn't wearing an engagement ring, seemingly squashing rumors that the two had gotten engaged earlier this year.

But, according to one source, even if the "Love Story" singer did get engaged, she wouldn't wear her ring out in public anyway.

Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn were spotted grabbing lunch at a casual park and taking a public stroll, at one point even holding hands as they walked along side by side in matching outfits. They wore sunglasses and baseball caps to hide their eyes from the sun, with Swift wearing a white cap and Alwyn wearing a blue one.

They both carried iced coffees and Alwyn has what looked to be a beach bag slung over one shoulder. Swift wore a white tank top with matching blue denim shorts, twinning the “Conversations with Friends” actor as he donned a white tee-shirt and blue shorts as well.

Swift also seemed to have a light blue button-down shirt slung over her shoulders to protect her skin from the hot summer son. They both wore sneakers as they walked along through the grass, seemingly lost in conversation.

This is actually the second time that they were photographed sharing some quality time together. Back in June, the couple actually took a trip to the Bahamas and were photographed kissing in the water.

Although there are a few photos of the two strolling along the beach, it seems that the couple spent most of the time in the water.

Fans were shocked, but overjoyed, to see photos of the "Don't Blame Me" singer with her arms around his neck as she leaned in for a smooch. At one point, it looks like she may be aware that she's being photographed, but that doesn't seem to stop her from making the most of her getaway.

Just a little over a week after Swift returned from the Bahamas, the news broke that Swift and Alwyn were actually engaged. However, the source dished that the "Gorgeous" singer only wears her "beautiful ring" in private.

According to The Sun, there may be some truth to the rumors that the “Stars At Noon” actor popped the question a few months ago. Early this year, there were rumors that Alwyn popped the question when he and Taylor Swift took a trip to the Lakes District, but nothing ever came of those rumors.

The insider told the outlet that the two has “only told” their inner circle about their engagement, so only their immediate family and “trusted, very old friends” know that Swift is actually engaged.

“Everyone has been sworn to secrecy, too,” the source added, noting that the “Red” singer only wears her “beautiful ring” in private. In other words, it makes sense that Swift wouldn't be wearing her engagement ring out on a public date where she knew she was going to be photographed.

“Again, only a handful of people know details about the wedding and Taylor hasn’t even told some of her team about the engagement,” the source alleged.

“They want their love to stay away from the cameras as much as possible. This is just for them. And if and when they do exchange vows, there most definitely won’t be any Vogue, Rolling Stone, or Hello! magazines there,” they added. “It will be simple and elegant – like them.”

In a recent interview for WSJ. Magazine's May issue, the “Boy Erased” actor joked, “If I had a pound for every time I think I've been told I've been engaged, then I'd have a lot of pound coins.”

He added that he “wouldn’t say” if he was really engaged to the “Enchanted” singer or not. “I mean, the truth is, if the answer was yes, I wouldn't say, and if the answer was no, I wouldn't say,” he told them.

“If you give it to them, it just opens the door,” Alwyn added.

Fans know "All Too Well" how much her privacy means to her, so if Swift wants to keep her engagement under wraps for now, it's fine by them! But, if she did happen to confirm their engagement, it would probably make their "Wildest Dreams" come true!
