What she explained was hysterical!

“I said I got a nose, that’s not entirely true. I mean I did get a job on my nose and it was a deviated septum, because I couldn’t breathe for a long time and I didn’t know that,” he said about the procedure.

He didn’t know he couldn’t breathe well, because Kristin never informed him about his snoring. Her reason for not telling him about his snoring was because she didn’t want him to feel insecure.

“She was telling me all the s**t that went down since I was under,” D’Elia said. “Now, I’ve gotten general anesthesia before for my leg.”

He woke up after leg surgery and said it was “smooth sailing.”

“I woke up and I didn’t feel weird at all,” D’Elia admitted. “This time some very weird s**t went down. I had no idea about things that were gonna be going down.”

Kristin said that on the way to the hospital the comedian said he’d remember everything following his surgery. She was very doubtful he would.

D’Elia has never done drugs and really didn’t want to get his deviated septum fixed, but needed to in order to breathe properly.

“It’s dire,” he exaggerated.

Kristin then took over the show and began telling the story of D’Elia’s reaction to anesthesia.

“Doctor comes in and he was like, ‘Surgery was beautiful, eleven out of ten. Went totally great.’ I was like ‘Oh, thank god,’” she recounted. “And then he said, ‘I’m going to wait for him to wake up and then you can go back there, because I have a feeling he’s going to wake up really crazy.’”

He Went Crazy Upon Coming Out Of Anesthesia

Because D’Elia has never done drugs, the doctor was afraid of how he’d react coming out of anesthesia.

“He was like he’s just never done drugs in his life and he doesn’t know what it feels like to be under this much anesthesia,” Kristin said. “Right as he said that I heard, ‘UGGHHHHH,’ like that in the back room. He was like, ‘Oh god he’s waking up, he’s gonna be crazy.’”

He was in fact acting “crazy.”

“Five doctors and nurses yelling ‘Chris, don’t, Chris lay down, Chris you’re out of surgery, Chris don’t hit your nose.’ You were trying to take out the IVS and fight all the doctors and nurses,” she said laughing.

D’Elia and Kristin got married last month in a beautiful ceremony in Santa Barbara, CA.

It’s unclear when they began dating, but the comedian announced in December 2019 that they were expecting their first child together.

D’Elia popped the question on June 18, 2019, and the couple welcomed their son in 2020.

Three years to the date of their engagement, D’Elia and Taylor made their family of three legally binding with beautiful wedding ceremony.

The guest list was filled with comedians like Eric Griffin, Bobby Lee, Adam Ray, Mike Lenoci and more.
