NBA star JR Smith is admitting he is struggling with the holidays after splitting from his wife Jewel Smith.
JR took to social media allowing his fans to ask him questions. During the “Ask me a question” he got real with his followers after splitting from his wife.
When asked how his Christmas was, he said, “It a one of the hardest Christmas’s I’ve had but we still pushing!”
Another fan asked, “How are you doing with everything you have going on?” JR said “I take everything day by day! Can’t rush your own progress.”
“Are you happy,” asked another follower. JR admitted, “Not truly but I’m working on it.”
Earlier this month, stories came out that accused JR of cheating on his wife Jewel Smith. He is reportedly dating “The Flash” actress Candice Patton despite still being married.
JR has been married to Jewel since August 2016. They share three children together. No divorce has officially been filed yet.
Jewel dropped a bombshell video in which she prayed for JR and Candice. In the 9-minute video shot in her car, Jewel asked god to help her marriage with JR.
In the video she explains, “Clearly there is a lot going on. You been sending it to me, DMing it to me … it’s a battle, hurdle to jump over … out there in the public.” She continued, “Ask you father god to cover him with your love. I ask in the mighty name of Jesus that you go to him where he is right now and shake him up god.”

Jewel asked god to help mend Candice’s heart “for you to go out there and to seek a married man. I pray for JR and Candice.” Lebron James wife, Savannah James, showed Jewel love in her comments.
JR fired back at Jewel’s accusations denying he cheated on his estranged wife. The NBA star wrote, “IG Ain’t A Place For Relationships!! But God Told Me To Tell Y’all I’ve Been Separated For Months. He Doesn’t Understand Why His Child Failed To Mention That… #ThatsAll.” JR and Jewel still follow each other on social media despite their issues.
