Christmas morning brings joy for many, and Kourtney Kardashian tried to make her morning extra special by welcoming a new member of her family. According to E! News, the celebrity surprised her three children by welcoming a golden retriever puppy into the family.
Kardashian shared photos of the new puppy on her Instagram and even asked her fans to offer suggestions for the puppy's name. Fans were eager to weigh in with a wide variety of suggestions, some of which may even work.
The family was also decked out in matching pajamas for Christmas morning as if the puppy wasn't cute enough.
While many fans were willing to play ball with Kourtney, others were wondering about the fates of Kardashians' other pets. While the new puppy was on full display, Honey, Kardashian's pomeranian, was nowhere to be found. "WTF where's honey," one fan wrote, while another asked whether Kourtney had any intention of actually keeping the puppy for the long term or not.
Another user wrote: "Where's your other dog? Because if she was in the house, they'd be playing together! Pets are not disposable!"
"You gave your Bengal cat away, and Honey away. Now you get a new dog? You are DESPICABLE," yet another user added.
In response to the backlash, Kourtney set the record straight after another user said they should name the dog "Temporary."
"Wow so much negativity. we still have Honey, but thanks for your assumptions," Kardashian responded. "I'll assume Santa wasn't good to you, hence your vibes."
Although she took her fair share of criticism, Kardashian also had defenders arguing on her behalf. "Can you guys just let her have her dog and be happy for once omg you people are ridiculous and rude," one user wrote.
Whatever the case may be with Kourtney's pets, there's certainly plenty of drama in every other part of her life. After she decided to step away from "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," Kourtney's feuding with her sister Kim became very public.
Recently, Kim went on Ellen to discuss the recent feuding and the toll it's taken on them both on-screen and off.
"What sucks is that season 18 will come out soon and it gets worse before it gets better," Kim said. "[Kourtney] and I have healed and have talked about everything and have really come to an understanding."
Although Kim claims things have gotten better, Kourtney's future on the show is still somewhat up in the air. Who can blame her for wanting to spend more time with her family?
