Duane "Dog" Chapman revealed on Thursday that he has been in therapy ever since his wife, Beth Chapman, passed away in June after a long battle with cancer. He shared the news with his fans after he celebrated Christmas for the first time without her.
The bounty hunter posted a Native American style painting to represent how he is feeling. Although he gave a mental health update to his devoted following, he made it clear that the verdict is still out about if his therapy is having a positive effect on him.
"Going to my shrink for 6 months now ever since Beth left me I am not sure if it works let you know in another 6," Dog wrote in the caption of his post.

All the love was overwhelming but one user made sure to let Dog know not to panic. "It’s all on your time," the kind follower commented, "You can’t rush grief. Praying for you. ?"

He managed to stir up some holiday spirit after a hard year and celebrated a low-key Christmas with family, including the daughter he shares with Beth, Bonnie Chapman.
He posted a cool photo that showed his group posing and holding up wine glasses.
"Merry Christmas it’s unfermented wine," Dog's caption said.
He received loads of support and well wishes in his comments. "Dog Happy Christmas and all the very best in the forthcoming year," one caring fan wrote while another said, "Merry Christmas to you and your beautiful family ?."

A few days before Christmas, Bonnie paid tribute to her late mother on her 21st birthday with an amazing throwback picture from when she was a baby in Beth's arms. The Chapman family matriarch stared lovingly into Bonnie's eyes while sporting a dark hairstyle.
"21 years later, thank you for all the birthday wishes on Monday! I had a wonderful day ?," Bonnie wrote in the caption of her post.
She previously admitted that she has been having a tough time during the first holiday season since her mom passed. She asked her devoted fans to excuse her absence from social media and she navigates this difficult time.
"I haven’t been posting lately, the holidays have been kinda sad without my mom. I don’t want to get into it, just know I’m struggling a bit and that’s why I haven’t been posting," Bonnie revealed.
We are sending lots of good thoughts to Dog, Bonnie, and the entire Chapman family.
