Jennifer Aniston's Instagram grip is alive and well – and with good reason. The "Friends" actress has been knocking the platform sideways ever since she signed up for an account on October 15.
Today's post from Jen was dedicated to her dad John Anthony Aniston. The "Days of our Lives" actor hasn't always had the best relationship with his superstar daughter, but today put past differences behind. Jen's snaps showed her with her dad, they were packed with love, and they were arranged in a way that basically made the whole of Instagram swipe.

Jen's first photo showed her as a young child. The star couldn't have been more than 5 or 6 years old and was seen with her arms wrapped around her father. A distinct '70s vibe was manifesting from John's mustache – well, it was that decade.
A quick swipe to the right showed fans a Jen that they're more familiar with. Here, the new Apple TV star was all grown up in a photo with her dad – likely taken either very recently or in the last few years.

A caption from Aniston said it all.
"Christmas with one of my creators.
Then and now #TBT
Love you, papa ❤️," the star wrote.
Instagram has definitely noticed this update. Jen's post had racked up over 1.1 million likes within just one hour of going live.
Celebrity likes in the post's first hour came from Ashley Tisdale, Olivia Munn, plus "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Lisa Rinna.
A "Gunther" fan account amusingly commented: "Finally, I meet your dad Rachel."
Elsewhere, fans showered Jen and her dad with love and best wishes for the holidays.

Jennifer has opened up on her father's views once she had made it clear that she wanted to pursue acting.
“My dad’s advice has always been: ‘Don’t do it. Become a doctor. Become a lawyer.’ He didn’t want me to be heartbroken because he knew it was a tough business. It compelled me to go for it even harder. Do what keeps you happy, and don’t ever let people box you in," Jennifer told The Hollywood Reporter back in 2012.
Aniston famously went onto earn $1 million per episode towards the latter seasons of "Friends."
Yes, she's still that big of a deal. The October 15 sign-up from Jen as she joined Instagram broke the platform's record for the fastest number of subscribers.
Breaking Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's Instagram record, Jennifer racked up 10 million followers in the first 24 hours of having an account. The star's following now sits at 22.3 million.
Jen is currently making waves for earning $2 million per episode alongside "The Morning Show" co-star Reese Witherspoon. The "Cruel Intentions" actress and "Friends" guest star frequently appears on Aniston's feed.
