On Monday, the "Sin City" alum, now 69, sat down with host Piers Morgan on "Piers Morgan Uncensored."While he was there, he took aim at the "Mission Impossible" actor and gave his thoughts on the defamation trial that made headlines throughout June.

It seems that Mickey Rourke doesn't have a high opinion of the "Aquaman" actress. Although he admitted that he doesn't know "The Lone Ranger" actor all that well, he still showed support for him on Monday.
“[I’ve known] Johnny for many years, but I don’t really know him intimately,” he explained. “All I could say is, I was in a situation one time where I got blamed for something that I didn’t do. It cost me movie jobs for several years, and it caused me a bad reputation.”
It's possible that Rouke might be referring to his ex-wife Carré Otis. The two were married from 1991 to 1999. However, according to the New York Post, the model claims that he was abusive during their marriage and that he had threatened to take his own life had they not wed.
“Finally, the truth came out, but the truth came out after I lost movies and I lost jobs, and so I felt bad for somebody that is trying to get chopped down by some gold digger,” he explained, comparing his own situation to that recently faced by Johnny Depp, who reportedly lost his role in "Pirates 6" due to Heard's accusations.
When Piers Morgan asked if Rourke thinks the "Zombieland" actress is a gold digger, Rourke replied, “Abso-f–king-lutely. Absolutely.”

It seems like a great time to be Tom Cruise right now. His next "Mission Impossible" film is coming out soon, and he is still coming off the success of his biggest movie to date. Earlier this year, Paramount released the sequel to the 1986 original "Top Gun" film, titled "Top Gun: Maverick."
Not only did the film receive positive reviews from critics and audiences, but it also grossed over one billion dollars at the global box office in only 31 days. The success made the movie the most successful of Cruise's lengthy career.
That being said, it seems that Mickey Rourke is still not a fan of the "Knight and Day" actor. Rourke said he has "no respect" for Tom Cruise, saying, "The guy’s been doing the same effing part for 35 years … I got no respect for that."
The "Angel Heart" actor also was not impressed by the success of "Top Gun: Maverick" at the box office. "I don't care about money or power," he told Piers Morgan.
“I care about, when I watch Al Pacino work and [Christopher] Walken and [Robert] De Niro’s early work and Richard Harris’ work and Ray Winstone’s work, that’s the kind of actor I want to be like," he continued. "[Montgomery] Clift and [Marlon] Brando back in the day.”
When Morgan asked if Rourke thought "The Mummy" star was a good actor, Rourke replied, "I think he's irrelevant, in my world."
Although it seems as though Mickey Rourke is not a fan of "Top Gun: Maverick" or Tom Cruise, plenty of fans are clamoring for a sequel. Star Miles Teller recently opened up on the possibility of a third movie in the "Top Gun" franchise. Fans who are interested can read more about what the "War Dogs" star had to say here.
