Cardi B Was Too Afraid To Have Anybody Else Take Care Of Kulture

Cardi B may be a “cool mom” now, but at first, she was a “terrified mom.”

The “WAP” rapper recently sat down with Vogue Singapore and dished on motherhood.

Cardi became a mother-of-two in September after welcoming her son, Wave. But, it was her daughter, Kulture Kiari, who made her a first-time momma.

Cardi was at the start of her highly successful music career when she found out she was pregnant.

“I didn’t have an album out when I found out I was pregnant,” Cardi explained. “Everybody was so nervous for my career and future.”

She reassured her team that everything would be fine, because she was going to hire a nanny.

“I kept telling them, ‘It’s easy. Trust me, I’m going to have a nanny and she’s going to travel up and down with me. It’s not even going to be a hassle,” she said.

However, once Cardi gave birth, her mindset completely changed.

The rap star opted to do it the “old fashioned” way and raise her daughter without the help of a nanny.

“When the baby got here, I couldn’t even think about getting a nanny because I was afraid of anybody being around her besides my family,” she admitted. “I’ve never had a nanny for Kulture.”

Cardi’s sister Hennessy has been a big help with her little ones, but she tries not to rely too heavily on her family.

“Your parents have already lived their life and raised their kids,” Cardi explained. “They are older and don’t have the same energy as someone in their 20s. I’m never far from my kids because that’s my responsibility as a mother.”

Another responsibility of being a mother is providing for your children.

Cardi and her husband, Offset, recently provided their four-year-old daughter with thousands in cold hard cash!

On July 10, Kulture celebrated her fourth birthday and was gifted $50,000.00.

Offset shared the moment his little girl was given her gift in an Instagram video.

“Birthday girl,” he said before Kulture asked if he was going to get her cotton candy. “Yes, I’m gonna buy you cotton candy.”

The video cuts to Kulture holding stacks of dollar bills and calling it a “ticket,” but a “ticket” is a million dollars.

She wasn’t THAT lucky… maybe next year.

The Blast recently reported on Cardi going into full momma-bear mode after trolls criticized her little girl.

The online trolls claimed Kulture was autistic.

Cardi B responded with a hefty rebuttal laced with expletives, demonstrating that she will not cower in the face of nobodies attempting to mock her and her family.

She hit out at a Twitter user who claimed Kulture, the rapper’s daughter, had autism. The online argument occurred soon after the recent Supreme Court’s decision to overturn the Roe versus Wade legislation.

“Your daughter is literally autistic, and you’re on stan Twitter instead of making sure she’s not sticking her finger in outlets,” penned the Twitter troll in a since-deleted tweet.

She shot back, “My daughter is not autistic…You can’t call her ugly, so y’all have to diagnose her with something. Go play in traffic b***h.”
