Russell Wilson Wants The NFL To 'WATCH OUT' For His Stepson, Future Zahir In Adorable Video

Football fans have watched Denver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson thrill them on the field of play since he joined the National Football League.

As per his personal life, Wilson was first married to high school sweetheart Ashton Meem, whom he divorced in 2014 and subsequently met and tied the knot with American R&B singer Ciara.

While Wilson and Ciara now have two children of their own, the couple is also parenting Future Zahir, the child of his wife's ex-fiancé rapper Future. Previous interviews from Ciara have indicated that Wilson has a close relationship with his children, particularly his stepson.

The NFL star has further confirmed that notion with a new video clip of himself and Future playing football, which has many talking about the child's future in the sport.

On July 11, Wilson shared a video of himself on Instagram playing football with his stepson Future, who turned eight two months ago. Also in the video was another child Kingston, son of Ciara's creative director Jamaica Craft and friends with his stepson.

Both kids could be seen doing drills with the quarterback in the nearly minute-long clip, with two adults by the side cheering them on. Wilson captioned the clip, "Post workout work with the young fellas!". "Future & Kingston young legends. Watch out @NFL."

Wilson has been a member of the Denver Broncos since March 2022. Prior to joining the team, he spent a decade as the quarterback for the Seattle Seahawks, where he helped the team sweep two consecutive Super Bowls.

He became the third quarterback in NFL history to pass for thirty touchdowns in four straight seasons in 2020. He has also been named to nine Pro Bowls and holds the record for most victories by an NFL quarterback in nine seasons.

Wilson is one of just a few quarterbacks in NFL history with a career passer rating of 100 or higher.

Wilson's post is one of many about his family, which fans have seen the football star share on his page. Fans no doubt enjoyed seeing him bond with Future, taking to the comment section to praise the footballer for embracing his fatherhood responsibilities.

"Definitely takes after his daddy! I know you're proud. You and Ciara are raising him well," one fan gushed.

"Russ, the kind of father we all wish we had coming up. Respect dawg," another follower commented.

Craft also penned her thanks in the comment section, citing how the session meant a lot to her son. "Thank you so much for taking the time with Kingston," she wrote. "He is forever inspired by your words!! Keep your eyes up and never look down nothing good there!! …future quarterback and play MLB!! Kingston was learning from a living legend!!!!! Let's Go God! So appreciative."

Wilson and Future's mother, Ciara, married on July 6, 2016, after a year of dating. The singer told E! News last year that the first time she saw the NFL player, she knew he'd be the "best father" to their mixed family.

"I can say after the first time of being around each other, I knew he was going to be everything that I could have hoped for and dreamed of, just to be honest, and especially in the case of raising kids," she said at the time.

The footballer also shared similar feelings in the same interview revealing that the singer had his heart from the get-go.

"I would say the first five minutes I met C, I knew she was going to be my wife, and I also knew she was going to be a great mom, and I think that she's everything that you'd want her to be in terms of being so caring,"

Apart from parenting Future, the couple has two additional children: Sienna Princess Wilson, born on April 28, 2017, and Win Harrison Wilson, born on July 23, 2020.

Being a footballer and being involved in several endorsements and commercial ventures, including a clothing line, has not prevented the 33-year-old from prioritizing his family. During a "Good Morning America" interview, Ciara confirmed that he gives his best despite his hectic schedule.

"As crazy as his schedule can be, and, of course, my schedule is crazy … he finds a way to make it happen, and he wants to make sure he doesn't miss anything, even if he's not physically there," Ciara said in the 2021 interview.

She added, "I always tell him he's my greatest inspiration because he really is that guy … he's about making the best of life in every way, and I really admire that about him."
