It seems that possible Twitter owner Elon Musk and Truth Social owner Donald Trump are in a bit of a feud.
As CNBC reported, Trump called the Tesla CEO a “bull---- artist” over the weekend. The former President of the United States claims that Musk told him that he had voted for him in previous, private conversations.
However, Musk has recently disclosed his political leanings and said that his first Republican vote was for Mayra Flores, the winner of a special election in South Texas in June. In addition, Musk also revealed last month that he was "leaning" towards voting for Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, not Trump, if he ran for President in 2024.
Elon Musk Says It's Time For Donald Trump 'To Hang Up His Hat & Sail Into The Sunset'
I don’t hate the man, but it’s time for Trump to hang up his hat & sail into the sunset.
Dems should also call off the attack – don’t make it so that Trump’s only way to survive is to regain the Presidency.

On Tuesday, the SpaceX founder told his 100 million Twitter followers, "I don’t hate the man, but it’s time for Trump to hang up his hat & sail into the sunset."
"Dems should also call off the attack – don’t make it so that Trump’s only way to survive is to regain the Presidency," he added.
Yeah, but too much drama. Do we really want a bull in a china shop situation every single day!?
Also, I think the legal maximum age for start of Presidential term should be 69.

One talk show host replied, “your response makes no sense. What about his presidency did you have a problem with?” He then named a series of hot button issues, ranging from border control to taxes. “What -- on policy -- did you have an issue with?” he asked.
"Yeah, but too much drama," Musk responded. "Do we really want a bull in a china shop situation every single day!?"
"Also, I think the legal maximum age for start of Presidential term should be 69," he added. It should be noted that Ron DeSantis is only 43. It would also rule out current Democratic President Joe Biden, who is 79. Donald Trump is only a few years younger at 76.
Musk Claims Ron DeSantis Will 'Easily Win' Against Joe Biden
Trump would be 82 at end of term, which is too old to be chief executive of anything, let alone the United States of America.
If DeSantis runs against Biden in 2024, then DeSantis will easily win – he doesn’t even need to campaign.

Singer and musician Adam Irvin commented, “Hmm. I’m a little surprised this is your take. I say Trump/DeSantis 2024 DeSantis 2028/32.”
"Trump would be 82 at end of term, which is too old to be chief executive of anything, let alone the United States of America," Musk responded. "If DeSantis runs against Biden in 2024, then DeSantis will easily win – he doesn’t even need to campaign."
It should be noted that Joe Biden has not confirmed that he will run for Presidential office again, although it remains to be seen who would replace him on the Democratic ticket. It's possible that Bernie Sanders might consider another Presidential run, but he will be turning 81 this September.
Elon Musk Agrees: 'We have quite a serious issue with gerontocracy'
💯
— Elon Musk (@elonmusk) July 12, 2022
“We have quite a serious issue with gerontocracy, where the leaders of so many countries are extremely old,” wrote Pranay Pathole, a software developer for Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). “And it is just impossible to stay in touch with the people if you are many generations older than them.”
Musk responded to Pathole, writing, "💯."
For a good functioning democracy maximum age should be considered, the leaders must be reasonably in touch with the bulk of the population. It feels surprising that we a minimum to run for the office but we don't a maximum age defined.
— Pranay Pathole (@PPathole) July 12, 2022
Pathole later added, "For a good functioning democracy maximum age should be considered, the leaders must be reasonably in touch with the bulk of the population. It feels surprising that we [have] a minimum to run for the office but we don't [have] a maximum age defined."
Don t knock the old! There is a lot of wisdom that come with it! We ve seen the ups and downs, and successes and failures. We see the patterns down through the years as they happen. Don t throw the baby away with the bathwater! We need to work together! Young and Old!

Although Musk didn't respond to the tweet, plenty of other users did. "Don t knock the old!" one user commented. "There is a lot of wisdom that [comes] with it! [We've] seen the ups and downs, and successes and failures. We see the patterns down through the years as they happen. [Don't] throw the baby away with the bathwater! We need to work together! Young and Old!"
Although Elon Musk seems really concerned with the political landscape of America, plenty of users also think that he should be preparing for his upcoming legal battle with Twitter.
