‘Squid Game’ and Zendaya Are Making Emmy History As Nominations Are Revealed
Although the ceremony typically airs on Sunday nights, it’s been pushed back to Monday to make way for NFL. Before the Emmy Awards are announced, the Creative Arts Emmy Awards will take place on both Saturday, September 3, and Sunday, September 4. An edited version of the awards ceremony will air at 8 PM on September 10 on FXX.
“Squid Game” became the first non-English language show to score main drama Emmys nominations, including a Best Actor nomination for Lee Jung-Jae. Zendaya also made Emmy history, becoming the youngest two-time acting nominee. She has received critical acclaim and won several awards for her role in “Euphoria.”
