'Friends First, Roses Second'

Season 19's 'Bachelorettes' Rachel Recchia and Gabby Windey were NOT worried about navigating through the oft-tumultuous process of finding true love within the public eye. These gals have been vocal in letting Bachelor Nation know the secret ingredient which brought the duo success both respectively and as a unit: Their solid friendship!

Recchia was adamant in expressing a key component for surviving the unprecedented situation of sharing the 'Bachelorette' title with Windey to People magazine.

She shared with the outlet, "I think Gabby and I just went into it talking to each other and knowing throughout everything, we just had to have communication, and that just really worked for us throughout the whole thing."

Windey echoed her 'Bachelorette' bestie's sentiment while setting an example of championing 'girl code' that could all learn from!

"I think going in, knowing a little bit about [the process] from Clayton [Echard]'s season and stuff, I feel like we both had the attitude of putting each other first. We know each other the best, our relationship above all is the most important..."

Windey also wrapped up her quote with a huge mic-drop statement, which showcases their mutual admiration for one another, and we could also tell helped define the blueprint these ladies used to help set themselves up for success!

"[Plus] a man that is worth it isn't going to have us fight over him, nor would we ever compromise our relationship for it." (via People)

A Rose Divided? What The Fans Are Saying

Recchia and Windey may both feel confident about the role their strong friendship served as the backbone of their season's success, but some fans within Bachelor Nation have been skeptical about trusting the process and sharing these ladies' steadfast beliefs.

A Bachelor Nation Redditor once raised a question in a subreddit for "The Bachelorette" per Heavy.com, "Am I the only one who would be bored if they had absolutely zero drama?"

Another Reddit user displayed some faith in the strength of Windey and Recchia's strong friendship, surviving and enduring any type of producer-concocted shenanigans, crafted with the potential of driving a wedge between them.

"Production will try and they will not have it," the fan predicted.

On a more positive note, a Bachelor Nation insider who has direct insight into how grueling it can often feel to hold the 'Bachelorette' title, highlighted the power behind Recchia and Windey's friendship following the conclusion of Echard's season of "The Bachelor."

'Bachelor' alumna Caila Quinn tweeted, "Rachel asking Gabby if she is OK is by far the highlight of this entire season." (via Bustle)

Quinn's tweet is referencing the absolutely INTENSE moment during Echard's season finale where the duo was left standing together during the final rose ceremony after it had become abundantly clear to fans that Echard's heart remained divided between the duo, and recently eliminated contestant, Susie Evans.
