Jenelle Evans' Ex Nathan Griffith Birthday Message Amid Divorce: 'So proud Of The Person You’re Becoming'

"Teen Mom 2" alum Nathan Griffith wished his ex and mother of his child, Jenelle Evans a happy 28th birthday with an incredible sweet message as she deals with her divorce from David Eason.

"I know the critics will criticize and I know the “hatters” aka haters will hate but this is honestly the first time in a while that I’ve seen @PBandJenelley_1 make serious and positive changes in her life and thinking. I’m so proud of the person you’re becoming. HAPPY BIRTHDAY," Griffith wrote in the birthday tweet.

Jenelle and Nathan called off their engagement in 2015 but they share their 5-year-old son, Kaiser Orion Griffith. The couple's relationship took a turn for the worse when she married Eason in 2017 but have reconnected as co-parents since announcing her divorce, according to US Weekly.

In October, Evans let her millions of fans know on Instagram that she was starting a new chapter in her life without Eason.

“With time away from Teen Mom, I’ve started to look at my life differently and I know I need to make changes. I’m starting that now. The kids and I have moved away from David. Nobody gets into a marriage expecting it to end but I know that’s what is best for me, and for my kids. Today I’ve filed papers to start that process.”
