'Boy Meets World' Star Maitland Ward Says She Makes $62,000 A-Month Doing Porn

'Boy Meets World' star Maitland Ward wants the world to know that porn pays way better than Disney...and you will never believe how much more we are talking!
Maitland, who is best known for playing Rachel McGuire in the 90's hit 'Boy Meets World,' spoke to The Daily Beast and discussed being nominated for two AVN Awards.
One nomination is for Best Three-Way Sex Scene, and the other if for Best Supporting Actress.
Ward also discussed her transition from television star to porn star in the new interview where she made it clear her second career is a lot more lucrative than the first one.
"When people say, ‘She had to turn to porn,’ I laugh because this is a good thing and I’m making more now,” Ward said. “If you talked to my younger, more virginal soap-opera self, I never would have seen this coming out of me,” she added.
As for how she got into the porn business, she says after the show ended in 2000, she booked a few television spots but nothing major. But in 2013, she got a huge break after dressing up in sexy cosplay outfits at comic book conventions and posting the pictures to social media.
“I had a publicist who was like, ‘Stop putting up sexy pictures. They will not hire you for anything if you do that. Once you get past 30, 35, they don’t hire you for doing sexy stuff. You should be auditioning to play Disney moms,’” she said.
She continued, “He thought he was giving me good advice but it just wasn’t my thing. I was typecast. I was seen as a wholesome comedy star, and I was trying to fight against that. I didn’t want to play a Disney mom.”
The move to porn was a lucrative one, Ward told The Daily Beast, after deciding to join a few websites that pay for videos of the star, she started making huge money. She says on ONE website alone, she made $62,000 a month.
Now, the thriving porn star is the face of a popular website and continues to make major porn flicks.
“I don’t have a label either. I’m just this grown woman who loves sex. One thing I really like is to surprise people, to shock them and to get them stirred up. I’m going to keep doing that," Ward explained.
She appreciates having all those “Boy Meets World” fans too! “They say, I’ve been masturbating to you all these years, And you know, that’s a feat that I will be proud of.”
