Wendy Williams is back like she never left!
The show host whose exit from the television industry was anything but glorious isn't letting anything stop her.
Wendy is looking to fulfill her promise of a return with a new podcast that vows to give her fans the FULL Wendy Experience!
Wendy Williams' Podcast Show Is Coming With A Bang!
As you might know, "The Wendy Williams Show" came to a devastating end in June, after Wendy had been away from her hosting duties for months due to her severe health issues.
She wasn't present for the final episode and to fans' surprise, all trace of the iconic daytime talk show was deleted from social media.
While for many that would have marked an era, that's not the case for Wendy. Following the cancellation of her talk show, the American broadcaster in an interview revealed that she going down a new path of podcasts.
As The Blast reported, the OG talk show host maintained that she was done with the hustle and bustle of television.
"I’ve got enough money to do something else. When you’re famous, podcasts will make more money for me, being famous, than doing the Wendy Williams Show," she confessed.
Wendy didn't go into details about what fans can expect, but she is said to be partnering with her manager Will Selby to bring the project to life.
While the New Jersey native remains mum on the details of her new podcast, she gave fans a hint of what to expect — and in true Wendy fashion, it promises to be unforgettable.
A Larger Door Has Opened!
On Wednesday, Wendy and Selby launched the Instagram page for the podcast and announced its name as "The Wendy Experience Podcast."
The account has garnered over 7,000 followers and its first two posts show Wendy looking healthy and ready to take on the world.
The "Think Like A Man" star was seen having an interview in the first upload. Wendy looked radiant in a colorful Versace robe, accessorizing with a silver chain with a large "W" pendant.

Her honey-blonde hair was styled into loose wavy beach curls but they looked quite rough. She had a cute smile on as a voice was heard saying in the background, "Wendy is doing a show, not a TV show."
The second post showed Wendy in all her glory, putting on a leggy display. The former radio DJ looked happier and super gorgeous, rocking an all-black ensemble consisting of a sweatshirt, leather shorts, fishnets, and black-and-white sneakers.
Wendy was all smiles as she lay on an animal-print blanket placed on a couch and stared sweetly at the camera. She adorned her look with several statement jewelry pieces and captioned the post, "When one door closes a LARGER one Opens! Last Day on SET! #stay #tuned #thewendyexperience #loading #nyc."
Fans couldn't keep their excitement as they rushed to the comments section to let Wendy know they were expectant. One user wrote, "Can’t wait to tune in….they can’t erase your legacy" while another added, "Seeing that #smile is everything. Can’t wait to hear what she’s been up to and her new ventures. How you doing?!?!?"
The New Podcast Will Give The Full Wendy Experience
In an exclusive interview with The Sun, Wendy's manager opened up about how the podcast is coming along and how it would be different from others.
Selby disclosed that taping for the podcast hasn't begun as they have been distracted by numerous offers from people looking to partner with them.
He didn't give any details but noted that he and Wendy were working on who would be their first guest on the show.
"I started the process of considering shooting something with our first potential guest as Fat Joe," Selby explained. "He's ideal because he's somebody that she trusts, he is a New York icon and he was the last person that she spoke to. I figured we should pick it up from there."
As for the unique name chosen for the podcast and what it's going to be about, Selby said, "Wendy says podcast but she doesn't elaborate that it's not going to be a traditional podcast, this is going to be a full podcast show. I feel like Wendy is a complete experience, that's why the name of her show was The Wendy Williams Experience.
He continued, "I want to shoot everything in her home. I want to get the full Wendy experience- everything from filming in her glam room or shooting in her kitchen with her favorite chefs as they prepare food for her and her guests. I want Wendy to feel like she could be as open and honest as possible and I want everything to be at her home."
Selby mentioned that fans would get to experience Wendy like never before as they would get unfettered access to her, getting to know her likes and dislikes. The podcast is set to have both an audio and video component, and the pair are in talks with big names like Amazon and Audible.
