Khloé Kardashian is not one to shy away from responding to criticism from fans over how she interacts with the rest of her famous family, and once again she's been backed into a corner, so she's setting the record straight for everyone. The "KUWTK" star took to Twitter on Saturday after fans have been critical over her lack of public social media posts regarding the December birthdays of some of her nephews.
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's son, Saint West, celebrated a birthday this month, as did both of Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick's boys, Mason and Reign Disick. There were parties, there were gifts ... but there were no tweets of joy from Auntie Khloé.
Not wanting to head into the New Year with her fans thinking she's got issues with her nephews, Khloé posted a message explaining the situation.
"I have always found it bizarre that people get upset about birthday shout outs on social media. My mentality is- Let people do what they want. Personally, I usually don’t post about my nieces and nephews on their birthdays because they’re not on social media. Happy Saturday."
Coming from the Royal family of Social Media, the fact that Khloé thinks it's important to send some old fashioned joy without using Twitter or Instagram is a pretty big statement. It also shows that she respects the fact her little nieces and nephews aren't all on social media and are still enjoying life as children. There will be plenty of time for public promotion as they get older.
Many of Khloé's fans agreed with her social media shout out policy and sounded off in the comments with support and praise.
"It’s like the people who post their Mother’s Day wishes to their mom when their mothers don’t have social media! My mom doesn’t have Facebook so why would I give her a shout out?! I’ll tell her in person!!" one fan wrote.
Another commented, "Finally!! Someone said it.. It's so crazy people wish 1yr old babies lol but you're right Koko and you don't owe anyone an explanation."

Even though Khloé may not be into sharing the love for the little ones online, the Kardashian kids are not lacking in that department as the rest of the family makes it a regular practice to post about all the kiddos.
Everyone from Kim, Kourtney and Kendall, and of course Kris Jenner, shower the kids with praise via Instagram Stories every time there is a celebration to be had. If there's anything the Kardashian kids won't be needing as they continue to celebrate their milestones in public; is more likes, follows and mentions.
