Although Kim, Khloe, and Kourtney Kardashian have been close since growing up together, there is now tension between the three Kardashian sisters. One thing that is causing a lot of tension between them is the fact that Kourtney is now leaving the show for a while to concentrate on raising her three children.
One thing the girls never could agree on is the fact that Kourtney has always been a very private person and was never into being in the spotlight like sisters, Kim and Khloe Kardashian have always been. Kim and Khloe agree with each other that if you have a contract with a show, you should try to put a little bit of effort into opening up about some parts of your life.

Kourtney never was one to shy away from letting everyone in the KarJenner family know that she never really enjoyed being on the show nearly as much as any of the rest of them did. She has never been afraid to speak her mind about anything and letting her sisters and mom know how she truly feels about being in the spotlight for the last 12 years. She is not one to beat around the bush as the saying goes. She always tells it like it is.
Now, Kourtney is leaving the show and had no reason to keep quiet about it. She says she won't be gone forever but feels the need to spend more time with her three children to ex Scott Disick. Their oldest is 10-year-old Mason who was born in 2009. They also have six-year-old Penelope and 5-year old Reign. Penelope was born in 2013 and Reign was born a year later in 2014.

Although Kourtney and Scott broke-up one year after their youngest, Reign was born, in 2015, they have both remained committed to co-parenting their children. So far, they seem to be doing a great job.
Because her children are getting older, she wants to step away from the show for a little while to spend more time with them as they grow up.
But, everyone wants to know how Kourtney will make a living and keep a roof over her and her children's head and food on the table for them, She had a backup plan all along to fall back on and that is her lifestyle website, Poosh.com.

She launched Poosh last March 2019. Many of their fans like to visit the site to get tips and tricks for different lifestyle problems. The different categories on the website are for health and wellness, as well as travel and career.
Poosh will be Kourtney's main source of income for a while. Although her earnings from the show were a whopping $25 million for the 2017 contract, it is a firm decision on her part to leave the show for a little while. And who can blame her when she wants to spend as much quality time with her 3 young children as she can.

Since the fans of the show shop on her website, Kourtney gets to pocket a profit from each sale. However, if she went back to appearing on the show, she might or might not earn more money from it.
Many celebrities have started their own website. Most of them have lifestyle websites to help people understand that they have tips and tricks to help them get through life. Gwyneth Paltrow has her own lifestyle website. Meghan Markle even ran a successful lifestyle blog before marrying Prince Harry.
Any member of the Kardashian family could retire right now if they wanted to. The family is very wealthy. It is no wonder Kourtney wants to take a break and isn't really worried about money when she is worth an estimated $35 million. However, since she launched this new lifestyle website, her income may be growing. But, even if the website doesn't work out like she thinks it will, she can retire right now and wouldn't hurt one bit from it.
Khloe and Kendall are worth around the same amount and Kim and Kylie are worth much more. None of the sisters need the show to live anymore and could retire right now and they wouldn't be hurting for anything.
