Many celebrities, like regular people, have claimed to have seen or gone through a supernatural experience and are not afraid to share their stories. One of these celebrities includes the “Tik Tok” singer, Kesha.
In 2012, she confessed to host Conan O’Brien on his show that she had once been intimate with a ghost. However, ten years later, she has come out to clear the air on one of the most sensational comments she has ever made.
Read on for more details about the information and other intricate details.
Kesha Had ‘Sensual’ Experience With A Ghost
In an exclusive interview with E! News’ Daily Pop, Kesha confessed that one of her supernatural experiences didn’t happen exactly as she relayed. Having stated before this time that she had a full-on sexual experience with a ghost, Kesha now clarified that she was instead gently woken up by the ghost.
“I was in Texas, Fort Worth, Texas, and I had something wake me up while I was in bed with my boyfriend at the time, and it was a touchdown.”
The 35-year-old continued, “I woke up and looked at the end of the bed and there was an apparition of a woman. So, full disclosure, I never actually slept with a ghost. But she did wake me up in a very sensual way.”
That incident wasn’t the only time she had a run-in with supernatural beings. As she said on the Daily Pop,
“I’ve been experiencing weird stuff since I was little, and it’s always been in me to be fascinated with supernatural, the paranormal, the unexplainable, the intangible.”
About ‘Conjuring Kesha’
In June, Kesha exclusively debuted the trailer of her upcoming Discovery+ series, which is to premiere on July 8. She explained in the trailer that the reason for the series was to explore “life mysteries and other things which couldn’t be seen on camera.”
“When I’m not on stage, I’m exploring my connection to the supernatural, and I’m bringing along my friends for the whole terrifying trip,” Kesha explained in the trailer. “I want to see things I can’t explain and capture evidence never before seen on camera.”
With over six hour-long episodes, the first season of ‘Conjuring Kesha’ will feature an appearance of Whitney Cummings, Betty Who, Big Freedia, Jojo Fletcher, and several others who would explore several locations in hopes of uncovering supernatural mysteries.
The series also features other paranormal experts, such as Chip Coffey and Cindy Kaza, who help guide her friends through their otherworldly experiences.
In an earlier teaser, she stated, “To me, the supernatural comes naturally. It started with my insatiable curiosity, my eternal searching for something bigger than myself. This has motivated my art, informed my music and has given a purpose to my entire life. It’s an eternal search for proof of God. But the adventures I have with my friends take these pilgrimages to the next level and make them a reality.”
This Project Comes On The Heels Of Her Podcast
“Conjuring Kesha” marks the singer’s latest supernatural media move following her podcast, “Kesha and the Creepies,” where she discusses otherworldly stories and supernatural events with her brother, Demi Sebert, and other celebrities, including Alice Cooper, Demi Lovato, Phoebe Bridgers, amongst many others.
“My podcast, ‘Kesha and the Creepies,’ was the jumping-off point into the unknown — and now this show is the ultimate quest to go deeper into my existential questions.”
Kesha’s Experience inspired her ‘Supernatural’ Song
Ghosts have always been a constant theme throughout Kesha’s career.
While speaking to Ryan Seacrest in 2012 to promote her “Warrior” album, she disclosed that the album had several themes, which ranged from “having a sexy time with a ghost” to “getting hypnotized and going into past lives.”
She also shared the inspiration behind one of the tracks on the album, “Supernatural.”
“I’ve got a song called ‘Supernatural,'” she shared at the time. “That song was about having sex with a ghost. I lived in this flop house at Rural Canyon, and there was this weird energy that lived there, and it used to keep me at night and wake me up. And it progressed into this dark, sexual spirit. It did scare me, but that’s part of the fun of it.”
