Reality star Erika Jayne just relinquished ownership of a pricy piece of jewelry and is reportedly ready to move on from it. "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star previously divorced her husband Tom Girardi in 2020 after 21 years of marriage.

Girardi recently faced allegations that claimed that the attorney was involved in an embezzlement scheme that took money from the trust funds of his various clients. Jayne denied any knowledge of the matter, claiming that she was innocent of the situation.

As a result of the filing, the judge presiding over the case ordered the reality start to return a $750,000 pair of diamond earrings which were reportedly bought using the stolen funds. The 50-year-old returned the jewelry and reportedly just wants to be finished with the entire situation.

Jayne is certainly ready to move on from the drama surrounding her failed marriage with her estranged husband, Girardi. According to reports, the "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star is currently doing "the best she can" after she was ordered by a court to return a pricey piece of jewelry from her ex-husband.

In a ruling last week, the judge declared that the reality star was to return the diamond earrings worth $750,000. The jewelry was gifted to her in 2007 by her husband and thus had some sentimental value to Jayne.

However, according to the court, they were currently seen as "stolen property" due to the allegations against Girardi, accusing him of embezzlement. The former attorney was charged with embezzling money from his clients to fund his opulent way of living.

According to Jayne's attorney, Evan Borges, the reality star had no prior knowledge that her beloved earrings were purchased with the money Girardi allegedly stole from his clients. As per documents gotten by Page Six, the attorney alleged that Jayne was "completely innocent" and that even the trustee didn't allege that she knew about the situation.

Borges said, "Not even the trustee alleges that Erika knew the source of funds that her wealthy husband used to buy her a gift of earrings 15 years ago (which replaced a prior set of earrings bought years prior to that)."

Jane also agreed not to sell the earrings or transfer their ownership while the investigation was still pending. The diamond earrings were given to a third party until the final order was entered.

According to a different filing on Wednesday, Girardi was accused of buying the jewelry using the money in a client trust account handled by his previous law firm, Girardi & Keese. The filing said that the attorney reportedly concealed the purchase by "describing the purpose of the check on the GK Rezulin Trust Account ('RTA') Ledger as a 'cost' item of the 'Rezulin' mass tort litigation, noting the payee to be 'M&M' without further explanation."
