Travis Barker Is Eager To Work On New Music Project After His Release From The Hospital

Anybody who has known and followed the drummer for a long time knows how seriously he takes his craft. So, it didn't come as a shock when TMZ broke the news of his studio return on Tuesday evening.

Along with pictorial proof of him driving a Mercedes G Wagon towards a Calabasas studio, the outlet claimed that the Blink-182 drummer looked healthier and better.

Barker opted for dark shades, a t-shirt with "D.O.A" inscribed on its front, and sneakers.

As soon as the "All the Small Things" artist alighted from his vehicle, tucked safely away in the studio's parking lot, the studio operator met him.

The rocker and the studio manager excitedly greeted each other with a fist bump. Several other musicians joined Barker at the Calabasas studio 30 minutes after he got there.

The rocker's assistant was reportedly on the ground to ensure the entire crew had enough food and coffee flowing during the creative process.

Regardless of what Barker and his fellow music buddies are cooking up, fans are just glad to see him back on his feet after what can be best described as a tumultuous week.

The Blast previously shed more light on his health crisis after being rushed to the hospital on Tuesday, June 28.

The "Can I Say: Living Large, Cheating Death, and Drums, Drums, Drums" author was wheeled out on a stretcher by West Hills Hospital and Medical Center staff after his condition allegedly took a turn for the worse.

The hospital staff placed him into an ambulance that transported him to the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Los Angeles.

Barker was luckily supported by his wife, Kourtney Kardashian, whose car and security details followed the ambulance to the hospital.

Sources soon revealed that the "Riding in Vans with Boys" star's pancreas suffered inflammation due to a colonoscopy procedure.

It's a good thing his treatment was taken seriously as intense stomach pain, nausea, and vomiting – which may start suddenly and last for days or occur over many years – are symptoms of pancreatitis.

Although members of the Kardashian-Jenner clan did not share any comments on their social media pages, his daughter, Alabama, did ask fans for a favor via her Instagram Story.

In the since-expired Story, the 16-year-old wrote, "Please send your prayers," along with a pleading face emoji.

This would be the second time the Barker family will experience a health scare since they returned from Italy – his wife recently recovered from COVID-19 for the second time.

Landon Barker Performed At MGK's Sold-Out Show Despite Father's Hospitalization

Meanwhile, Travis' son, Landon Asher, got social media users wondering if there was a problem in their family when he turned up at a concert a few hours after news of his dad's hospitalization broke.

The Blast previously reported that the drama started after a video of the 18-year-old performing alongside rapper Machine Gun Kelly surfaced on Twitter

Before Landon joined MGK on stage, the latter asked the crowd if there was anybody who ever felt "lost sometimes."

Once he got his response, the 32-year-old hollered at New York City to "make some noise for Landon Barker!"

There was no hesitation from the crowd, who immediately went wild, thus giving Landon the prompt he needed to come on the stage.

The "Don't Need Her" artist went ahead to wow the excited audience at the sold-out show held at Madison Square Garden.

Landon and MGK performed their collaboration "Die in California," – which was on the "Rap Devil" rapper's second Billboard 200 No. 1 album, "Mainstream Sellout."

The album had a March release and came after his 2020 album, "Tickets to My Downfall," which was both his first rock album and his first No. 1 album.

Just like the Kardashian-Jenner family's silence on the issue, neither MGK nor Landon spoke about the latter's dad being in the hospital for a medical emergency.
