What's Going On With Derick Dillard and The Duggars?

The Duggar family isn't prone to controversy. The family became popular with their TLC show 19 Kids and Counting.

But in recent years the family has been part of one scandal after another. Now, it looks like they could be involved in another one.

Their son-in-law Derick Dillard, who is married to Jill Duggar revealed that he plans to write a tell-all book about the famous family.

During a chat with a fan on Twitter, Derick revealed he plans to write a book about his in-laws.

With Derick possibly spilling secrets, this has led to speculation on whether there's a family feud brewing.

Fans of the Duggars got to see Jill and Derick's courtship unfold on 19 Kids and Counting.

The couple began their long-distance courtship in March 2014. After communicating via phone and the internet, Jill and her dad Jim Bob traveled to Nepal to see Derick.

Derick appeared to make a good impression on Jim Bob and Michelle, who gave him their blessing to marry their daughter.

Derick and Jill married in June 2014, and their wedding was featured on the show.

Less than a year after their wedding, Jill gave birth to their first son Israel in April 2015. Two years later she gave birth to their second son Samuel.

In 2015, a huge scandal erupted with the Duggar clan. As a teen their oldest son Josh was accused of molesting underage girls. His victims included his sisters.

After news broke, TLC canceled "19 Kids and Counting." The producers then created a new show around Jill, Jessa, Jinger, and the other Duggar siblings called Counting On.

The series followed Jill and her siblings as they adjusted to married life and parenthood. Jill and Derick were featured prominently on the show, and cameras followed the couple as they went on missionary trips around the world.

Jill and Derick's time on Counting On wouldn't last too long.

Derick shares similar religious beliefs with the Duggars, and he's been very vocal about expressing his opinions.

After Derick made several insensitive tweets, TLC decided to fire him and Jill from the show.

Despite being let go from the show, Jill and Derick continued to share photos and updates of their family on social media.

While Jill stays home to tend to the kids, Derick is studying at the University of Arkansas School of Law. Aside from trying to earn his law degree, Derick may also have other plans in the works.

Rumors of a feud between Derick and the Duggars have been brewing for a while.

Following their termination from Counting On, it appeared that Jill wasn't spending as much time with her parents or her siblings. Even though Jill posts sweet messages to her sibling via social media, she's hardly seen spending time with them.

As for Derick, it seems he has issues with his father-in-law Jim Bob. Derick has implied that Jim Bob keeps the money earned from the show and doesn't give it to his kids. Derick also criticized TLC for not paying him, Jill, or her siblings; since they're the stars of the show.

It appears there may be some trouble brewing between The Duggars and The Dillards. If Derick does go ahead with his plan to write a tell-all book, things could get much worse for both sides.
