For 37 years, Vanna White has turned the letters on the hit CBS game show Wheel of Fortune.
But with host Pat Sajak undergoing surgery, Vanna has to step in for her partner while he's recovering.
Last night, viewers watched as Vanna filled in as host, while Minnie Mouse took over Vanna's role of turning the letters.
Vanna's temporary role as host is making headlines, but the star has been a mainstream figure for the past three decades.
While Vanna settles into her hosting duties, let's take a look at some fun facts about the star.
Wheel of Fortune made Vanna White a star. Viewers feel in love with the gorgeous model, who came out every night looking like she was dressed for the red carpet.
Vanna's friendly banter with Pat Sajak made Wheel of Fortune a hit with fans.
But what some people may not know is that Vanna wasn't the first hostess for Wheel of Fortune. Actress/model Susan Stafford was the first hostess with the show. Stafford was with the game show since its debut in 1975, but in October 1982 she decided to leave.
Vanna auditioned for the job and in December 1982, she signed on to become the new Wheel of Fortune hostess.
With her good looks and warm personality, Vanna definitely had what it took to be a star.
Aside from her hostess duties on Wheel, Vanna has also dabbled in acting before and after landing her game show gig.
She's had guest appearances on sitcom such as Full House, and Married With Children, where she played Al Bundy's high-school girlfriend.
Aside from television, Vanna has also co-starred in a few movies. She had a cameo in the 1994 comedy movie Naked Gun 33 1/3: The Final Insult.

Like many celebrities, Vanna donates her time and money to help charities.
One charity that's near and dear to her heart is St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Vanna visits with the children at the hospital, and she even hosts events to help raise money for the cause. Vanna has worked with St. Jude for years, and she's donated over $1.8 million to the foundation.
White takes pride in her charity work and says she plans to continue to do more work in helping St. Jude.

When she's not busy turning letters for Wheel of Fortune, Vanna loves to relax by crocheting.
As a child, Vanna loved to crochet, and she continued the hobby as she grew older. Vanna says that crocheting is something she and her daughter love to do, and she finds it very relaxing.
Vanna's love of crocheting landed her an endorsement deal with the company Lion Brand Yarn. With the help of the company, Vanna launched her own line of yarn, which is called Vanna's Choice.
