Nicki Minaj Blamed For Stylists Being Screwed Out Of $25,000

Nicki Minaj is being blamed for two stylists allegedly being screwed out of $25,000 after working for the rapper.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Minaj’s ex-stylist, Maher Jridi, is denying all allegations of wrongdoing in the lawsuit brought against him.
Jridi was sued by two stylists hired to help with Minaj’s music videos and events. They accused him of refusing to pay their invoices after months of work.
In newly filed documents, Jridi says the two stylists did not suffer any damages because of him. He says, “Plaintiffs’ damages, if any, are owed by Wilhelmina Models, Inc. or Nicki Minaj.”
He is demanding the entire lawsuit be thrown out.
Back in July, Maher Jridi was sued by fashion stylists and consultants Martha Chery and Sam Woolf. The lawsuit also listed Wilhemnia Models as a defendant.
The suit explained Cherry was hired by the defendants to be a stylist for Minaj on Jason DeRulo’s music video “Swa Lah” in Feburary 2017. Cherry worked for several days at the promised rate of $500 a day. She was to be reimbursed for any additional expenses.
Cherry sent off an invoice following her work on the first music video. Before being paid she agreed to work on three separate music videos for the defendants.
The stylist assistant was hired to work for Jridi for five days in New York and an additional days in Miami. She worked on the music videos “Make Love” and “You Da Baddest.”
She sent off invoices for the two music videos. Before she received payment she was asked to travel to New York and Paris for Minaj’s appearance at Paris Fashion Week. Cherry also worked on another music video for “No Frauds” in the U.K.
Cherry says she worked 36.5 days but was never paid $18,250 for work and $1,389.12 in expenses.
The other plaintiff, Sam Woolf, claimed to have been hired for the same $500 a day rate. He worked from July 2017 until November 2017 for the defendants.
His work included, “Some of the projects and events where Woolf performed work for Defendants include, but are not limited to: Rake it Up music video, Swish Swish Bish music video, Quality Control music video, the Video Music Awards, Mercedes Tidal commercial (the “Madrid project”), New York Fashion Week, T Magazine project, Paper Magazine photoshoot, and the No Flags music video.
He demanded $5,000 in payment but Jridi allegedly refused to pay up. The stylist assistants are suing for the unpaid invoices totaling $24,639.12 plus additional damages.
The case is ongoing.
Minaj and Jridi are in the middle of their own nasty legal battle. He filed suit first accusing the rapper of refusing to return expensive cloths. He said he borrowed a bunch of items a third party for Minaj, who wanted their stuff back.
The stylist says he worked with Minaj in 2017 and rented a bunch of outfits from a wardrobe company. He says he spent thousands on the rental clothes but never was reimbursed.
In the suit, the stylist explained the third party company won a $74k judgment against him over the unreturned clothes. The stylist sued Minaj over the unpaid bill and for alleged emotional distress.
Minaj countersued Jridi saying she overpaid him to the tune of $12,000. She said he promised to pay it back but never did.
Recently, Minaj rushed to court pleading for the judge to seal her videotaped deposition in the case.
