Sharna Burgess is opening up about her life as a new mom, including her postpartum experiences!
The Australian dancer, most notably known for being a professional mentor on "Dancing with the Stars," took off her ballroom shoes to welcome her first child with her boyfriend, Brian Austin Green.
Days after their adorable son Zane arrived, the 37-year-old updated her Instagram followers about life after giving birth and shared new photos of their bundle of joy.
Sharna Burgess Praises Women For Having 'Incredible' Bodies In Postpartum Update
On Sunday, June 3, the ABC series star proved she was not afraid to share her feelings with fans as she happily divulged information about her postpartum experience on her Instagram Story.
Keeping things real, the TV personality opened up about the changes her body had undergone since giving birth in a lengthy statement alongside a mirror selfie of herself in a robe.
The garment was tied loosely, exposing the "Burn the Floor" alum's white underwear and flawlessly toned legs as she posed barefoot in front of the mirror while holding Zane with one hand and her phone in the other.
As a dancer, the "So You Think You Can Dance" star has always flaunted her envious figure on the ballroom floor but the Australian native's flat stomach still came as a surprise.
Although rocking a slimmer body after housing a child for 9 months was a cause for celebration, Burgess's postpartum update did not involve her stomach but her kneecaps.
"In other amazing news today, I spotted a kneecap!!! Not kidding...they have been MIA until now," the mother-of-one wrote, clearly excited as she confessed that her body had been "utterly unrecognizable" since giving birth.

The choreographer jokingly explained that the postpartum period should be taken seriously as she had lost every ounce of water in her body through her vagina.
Motherhood not only changed the "DWTS Australia" judge's body but also her mindset, causing the 37-year-old to appreciate women in a new light as she sang the praises of her female fans by writing:
"Ladies, our bodies are incredible. I'm in awe and wonder of what's happening, all while practicing a new level of patience with myself. And it's worth every single bit."
The ballroom dancer appeared to be loving every stage of being a first-time mom thanks to her precious son, whom the doting parent showed off in another Instagram post on Sunday evening.
Head over heels for her baby boy, the "Simply Ballroom" alum uploaded a picture of herself resting with Zane fast asleep on her chest, giving fans a good view of the newborn's adorable face.
Starting off the caption with a joke, Burgess implied that her son had entered a food coma after feasting on her before launching into an emotional narration about finding heaven on earth.
The blonde beauty stressed that she did not have the perfect words to explain the feelings that bloomed within her heart whenever she looked at her son, noting that the emotions always moved her to tears.
Just as the ABC star's mother once told her, the 37-year-old discovered that a mother’s love was incomparable to any form of affection, declaring that she had been forever changed by her "deep and unconditional love" for Zane.
The choreographer concluded her message with a passionate promise: "I will love him and worry about him until my last breath and beyond. Heaven is a place on Earth, and I found it."
The "DWTS" Troupe Member Revealed Her Pregnancy Was Not Planned
As previously shared by The Blast, Burgess confessed during an intimate Q&A session with her Instagram fans that her pregnancy came as a surprise.
At the time, the 37-year-old revealed that she had been on birth control during her conception as she and Green initially planned to have a child in mid to late 2022.
Although the baby was not expected, the Australian dancer assured fans that she and the actor were excited to meet their unborn son, who the universe had chosen to arrive at a "divine time."
Zane marked the choreographer's first child but the fifth for the "Cross" star, who shares three sons with his ex-wife Megan Fox and a fourth child from a previous relationship.
