The legendary Steven Tyler is ready to get back on stage following a month of being committed to a rehabilitation facility.
Fans may be aware of Tyler’s struggles with sobriety for several years leading to an unfortunate relapse in May. Fortunately, the music star has been reported to now be “totally clean and sober.”
Steven Tyler Is Doing Really Well After Checking Out Of Rehab
TMZ recently announced the good news of Tyler’s progress and being out of rehab after a fruitful stay. They also noted that he stayed longer at the facility than planned.
It is worth knowing that he vacated the facility last week and spent more than the original thirty days, ensuring he felt good afterward.
As expected, fans and loved ones of the musician are delighted about his improvement amid the enduring struggle. They also remain hopeful that he will stay sober and clean following the rehab care.
Sources revealed that the Demon of Screamin was doing “amazingly well.” They also described his current appearance, stating that he looked “physically good” and had put on a healthy weight with good-looking skin.
Even with the recent progress, Tyler is aware of his addiction and admitted to understanding that he was battling a lasting problem. Nevertheless, there may still be hope for him to maintain his sobriety.
Regarding his relapse back in May, The Blast reported that his rock band Aerosmith released a statement confirming the unfortunate news.
The release made fans aware of the lead singer’s lifelong struggle with sobriety and showed he had checked into a rehab treatment program for a successful recovery after the recent relapse.

Aerosmith wrote, “After foot surgery to prepare for the stage and the necessity of pain management during the process, he has recently relapsed and voluntarily entered a treatment program to concentrate on his health and recovery.”
They also announced that they would be calling off their upcoming shows related to their Las Vegas residency this summer while Tyler concentrated on getting better.
In their words, “We are truly sorry to inform our fans and friends that we must cancel our first set of Las Vegas residency dates this June and July while he focuses on his well-being.”
The American band was hopeful about returning stronger in the second part of their tour coming up later this year, starting in September. They also promised to update fans further as soon as they could.
Aerosmith was devastated about the inconveniences, particularly for fans who bought their tickets and had already traveled long distances to experience their show.
They remained thankful to their supporters and ended the statement with a phrase of appreciation to fans for their support of Tyler and for being understanding.
Said fans could not help but send their love to the 74-year-old songwriter after hearing the sad news. They believed he could beat the relapse and wished him well in recovery.
Several sent prayers his way and urged him to focus on his health which they cared about, while others promised to stand by him even till he leaves rehab.
It is no news that Tyler’s struggle with sobriety has been on for a long time, and in a 2019 interview with Haute Living, he recalled being sent to rehab by his bandmates in 1988 while they went on vacation.
He was angry at them for several years about the intervention; however, he expressed gratitude to them via the interview for helping him get sober.
The “Love Is Your Name” Musician’s Former Fiancée Had Divorce Problems With Her Ex-Partner
In 2018, The Blast shared a report about Tyler’s ex-fiancée Erin Brady fighting a divorce petition filed by the father of her daughter, Guerin Swing, claiming they were never legally married.
According to the obtained documents, Brady asserted that she and Swing only came close to marriage with a 2015 “symbolic ceremony” in Mexico, which she felt “pressured” to be involved in.
She also claimed that they were in an off-and-on relationship for four years before permanently separating in December 2017.
It seemed Swing had not been much of a presence in their daughter’s life, and he allegedly signed over full custody to Brady during the same period of their split.
As for Tyler’s relationship with his one-time fiancée, they dated for some years and were engaged to be married. However, they eventually separated before their marriage.
