And another one bites the dust.
Travis Scott’s big festival comeback has been canceled.
The rapper was set to co-headline the “Day-N-Vegas” music festival alongside J. Cole and SZA.
However, two months before the big event, organizers announced not just Travis’ performance, but the ENTIRE festival is canceled.

This would’ve been Travis’ first festival appearance since his very own deadly Astroworld Festival in November 2021.
On November 5th in Houston, TX. the “Sicko Mode” rapper put on his Astroworld Festival which saw ten people die and hundreds other injured.
The cause of death for the victims of Astroworld was “compression asphyxia.”

According to the official coroner’s report, all ten victims of the terrible tragedy died due to being suffocated by the pressure from the surging crowd. All of the victim’s official cause of death is listed as “compression asphyxia.” As you know, many of them were rushed to local hospitals after collapsing inside the concert.

He captioned the photo, “Let’s goooooo.”

In May, Travis performed at the Billboard Music Awards. He took the stage as a solo act thanks to Diddy.
He was able to headline due to Diddy serving as host and executive producer of the show.
On Monday, May 9, Diddy took to his Instagram page to let his over 18 million followers know he championed Scott’s upcoming TV performance for Sunday’s Billboard Music Awards.
The “Hello Good Morning” star broke the news, explaining how he made a special ask to the network behind the May 15 ceremony to bring the “Utopia” artist on board.
