In the wake of one of the biggest college entrance scandals ever seen, headliner, Lori Loughlin is preparing for her day in court after pleading not guilty. Currently, as it stands, if convicted for bribery, fraud, and money laundering, both her husband and herself could each face up to sixty years in prison. Loughlin isn't taking this lightly, though, as she has been adamantly preparing for what should be grueling moments from the prosecution. As a way to prepare, Loughlin has been undergoing mock trial sessions and lots of practice.

As her day in court approaches, Loughlin has steadily been preparing for standing trial and fielding questions from prosecutors. According to Us Weekly, a source close to Loughlin stated that "Lori has been meeting with her lawyers for days at a time. It’s her full-time job and she is very involved with her defense. When not at her lawyer’s office, Lori is emailing and texting with the team." During these meetings, her personal attorneys are playing the role of the prosecutor in mock trials in order to better acquaint her with what to expect on the stand.

While the whole situation could have been avoided if Loughlin put this much work into ensuring her daughters were academically prepared to get into the University of Southern California, her looming day in court could also have been avoided if she took a plea deal like Felicity Huffman. Huffman only received a 14-day sentence in jail, a $30,000 fine, 250 hours of community service, and a year of supervised release. According to Us Weekly, though, Loughlin has turned a corner and has passed the point of now return for entering a plea agreement.

Regardless of the outcome of these proceedings, it's inconceivable that Loughlin's reputation can ever fully recover, even as the beautiful Rebecca on Full House. Many people on social media are still expressing their disdain for the Hollywood elite and their manipulation of the education system for their benefit, or in this specific situation, Olivia Jade and Isabella. Scrolling through Twitter, it's apparent that a lot of people believe that she needs to serve at least some amount of time in prison to atone for what she has done.

Only time will tell what is to happen to both Lori Loughlin and her husband. It's not easy for their daughters Olivia Jade and Isabella, either, even with the platforms that they hold on Youtube and other social media as influencers. Those avenues have all been shut down right now as the legal proceedings take their place. We all want justice to be served, as is the case in any criminal act, but as the justice system works, we lay it in their hands.
