Teen Mom 2 alums Jenelle Evans and David Eason are currently locked in a contentious divorce that is leading to a bitter custody battle. Evans has taken her four children to live in Nashville during the divorce proceedings and has filed a restraining order against Eason and was even given an extension.
It is clear that Evans did not feel safe with her ex, and is taking the necessary precautions to keep her children, including 2-year-old Ensley that they share, safe.
Although he is not allowed to talk about Evans on social media per the restraining order, Eason has been posting a number of photos of Ensley on his Instagram with emotional captions. He posted a picture of his daughter on Sunday with the caption:
"The most precious sweet girl ever"
He also posted a picture of her on Saturday, saying "missing my precious baby so much."
Additionally, he posted a video of her on November 21, saying:
"Deer Daddy, I see a deer, deer!” I miss my baby more than she could ever imagine and I know she misses me too! I would give anything to take her hunting again right now!"
People are interacting in his comments, pointing out that he also has other children with his ex, Whitney Johnson.
"What about your other daughter?"
"Wonder what your other daughter thinks of this post"
"Do you miss the boys too?"
"Don't you have 2 daughters?"
Others encouraged Eason to work with Evans in this divorce and to try to coparent peacefully for the children's sake.
"I know it will be hard but try and be nice to Jenelle and co-parent with her. What your little girl sees now is what she'll accept from a man when she's grown."
Evans released a statement on Instagram on October 31st explaining that she was leaving Eason and taking the children.
"I’ve mostly kept off social media the past few days because I’ve been focused on making some big life decisions. I’ve lived my life on camera since I was 17 years old. And a lot of it hasn’t been pretty, but it’s been my life. Like anyone else, I want what’s best for my kids, and I want to be happy. With time away from Teen Mom, I’ve started to look at my life differently, and I know I need to make changes. I’m starting that now.
The kids and I have moved away from David. Nobody gets into a marriage expecting it to end, but I know that’s what is best for me and for my kids. Today, I’ve filed papers to start that process.
I appreciate the support from everybody who has asked how I am. Me and the kids are doing great. We need some time to be together, but you’ll hear from us again soon."
Since then, she has largely been silent on social media.
