Demi Lovato has a new addition to their already vast collection of tattoos!
The non-binary singer debuted a new shoulder tattoo to their fans, who have been looking forward to their latest inking choice.
Lovato has over 20 tattoos on their body, including designs depicting florals, animals, and reminders of their faith.
Demi Lovato Is Proud Of Their New Body Ink & Showing It Off
In addition to their singing and acting prowess, Lovato has made a name for themself as a tattoo enthusiast.
The "Barney & Friends" alum reminded fans of their fascination when they took to their Instagram Story to show off their latest ink work on Monday.
The 29-year-old used a short clip to flaunt their new inking of a web spread across their shoulder and a spider draping down their arm.
The "Skin of My Teeth" hitmaker's new inking was done by Los Angeles-based celebrity tattoo artist Doctor Woo, who boasts over a million followers on Instagram.
Lovato acknowledged the doctor's good works by writing, "@dr_woo_ a spider you can see now!" alongside the picture.
Does Lovato Have A Thing For Spiders?
The "Heart Attack" singer's latest tattoo comes more than four months after getting a tattoo drawn on their head.
Soon after she got the ink, The Blast reported that the "Give Your Heart A Break" artist showed off the tattoo – another spider – with a poem explaining its meaning.
A since-expired Instagram Story showed off the sizable black spider tattoo on their scalp, with Dr. Woo again working his magic on Lovato.
For the occasion, the "Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam" actress rocked a low cut with perfectly shaved sides - the spider's new home - and a face mask.
As for the message behind the Grandmother Spider ink, the actress wrote:
"She taught us about pottery and weaving. She taught us about fire and light and dark. She taught us that we are all connected on the web – each one of us having our place in this world."
Lovato also reposted the tattoo's finished look from Dr. Woo's Instagram Story, which showed them facing away from the camera. "The Smurfs 3" star accompanied the repost with two spiders and a black love emoji.
The 68-Time Award Winner Has A New Project Underway
Aside from their tattoo kink, the singer occasionally pops up in the news for their drug and alcohol addiction, which began at a young age.
Although the journey might not be easy, Lovato has taken it upon themself to do the hard work of staying clean and sober.
The "Demi Lovato: Dancing With the Devil" star, whose first rehab stint happened at age 18, is even making music without the influence of alcohol and drugs.
Earlier this month, the "Camp Rock" alum told Jimmy Fallon, while discussing their upcoming eighth studio album, that after their rehab stint in 2021, they decided they wanted to be clean for the sake of their music.
After reflecting on their last time in rehab, they said they wanted to shatter old records for themself.
Lovato added that they wanted to make the "best album possible, something that really represents who I am."
Before making that decision, The New Mexico native had tried to be "California sober," which means they smoked and drank but did not indulge in hard drugs.
However, they quickly realized that using that method was too risky and so opted for 100% sobriety.
Speaking on their upcoming album, "Holy Fvck," the singer said, "I made this album clean and sober. I can't say that about my last album, but this one, I'm really, really proud about."
For Lovato, the process of making the album, which is due for an August 19th release, has been the "most fulfilling yet."
They also feel nothing but gratitude for the fans and collaborators for sticking with them.
The singer's upcoming project comes after they released "Dancing With The Devil" in 2021 – their first album since they nearly died from a drug overdose in 2018.
The "Zoolander 2" star is even prepping to go back on the road for a tour, which had not happened since 2017 when they did their "Tell Me You Love Me World Tour."
The 32-date tour will start on August 30th in São Paulo, Brazil, at Espaço das Américas, before making several stops across South and North America and landing at the Toyota Music Factory, Texas, on November 6th, for the grand finale.
