Former 'RHOA' Star Apollo Nida and Fianceé Come Under Attack on Instagram

Former Real Housewives of Atlanta star Apollo Nida has a lot to be thankful for this holiday season after coming out of one of the darkest times of his life. It wasn't that long ago when Nida, who was formerly married to powerful lawyer and ex-RHOA cast member Phaedra Parks, was thrown into jail after being sentenced for a multitude of crimes. Now after his release Nida has been in the throes of love and passion with his new fiancee Sherien Almufti.

Fans of RHOA will recall that Nida became one of the most popular cast members because of his smooth demeanor and attentive behavior towards Parks and their two children. And viewers of the show weren't the only ones who became enamored with Nida. Trouble came early for the couple in the form of fellow cast member Kenya Moore, who immediately entered into a feud with Parks because of her apparent flirtatious behavior whenever they were all together. It became one of the show's most famous story arcs.

Eventually, things took a turn for the worse for both Nida and Parks' relationship when it was discovered that Nida was under investigation for bank fraud and identity theft. From CNN;

Nida created two fake collection companies to gather personal information used to steal victims' identities, U.S. Attorney Sally Quillian Yates said after his sentencing in Atlanta. He used the information to get fraudulent auto loans in the names of his victims, according to the criminal complaint. He was busted after a year-long investigation by the U.S. Secret Service.

As the time to serve his sentence drew closer Parks quickly made the decision to distance herself from the drama by beginning the process of divorce.

Now that he's been released Nida has a brand new appreciation for life, as well as a brand new fiancee, Sherien Almufti. Taking a quick peek at both Almufti and Nida's Instagram pages and it's quick to see that they have a beautiful relationship, though not everyone is on board with their romance. Celebrity Insider reports that Almufti recently shared a photo to Instagram of Nida dancing happily now that he's a free man. However, followers were quick to add their thoughts on their new relationship.

In the post she captioned, "Look at my baby doing his “bish I’m free” dance!!! ????? #loveyoudaddy❤️"

One user commented 'He out for now??????' while another wrote 'He feels good about taking those people's money'. But the shade didn't end there. Nida himself posted a touching message to Almufti stating 'I want to say thanks to this amazing woman @queensherien for staying supportive and always there no matter what it took'.

However, even that was also met with suspicion. One user blatantly wrote 'U can do better Apollo! This lady tries to make it about her always on UR post. Even making ur baby mama look bad. Leave Phaedra alone! Shes the mother of ur kids... i dont like this new chick.'.

Looks like the drama is far from over regarding Nida and his new fiancee'. And as far as Parks is concerned she's moved on and has no time for any of this drama.
