Will It Be Pink Or Blue For Patrick And Brittany Mahomes?

Expecting baby number two, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, 26, and wife Brittany, 27, officially revealed if they are adding a baby boy or baby girl to their family by sharing an adorable gender reveal video on social media. In the video, attendees voiced their opinion on if it's a boy or a girl. Everyone seemed unanimous that it's a boy. Were they right?

Patrick recently told ChiefsWire, "I’m extremely excited. The gender reveal is coming up soon. Hopefully we get a boy, but I’ll love him or her either way. It’s going to be awesome.” After hearing what their friends and family thought the gender of the baby is, it was time to do the big reveal. With the song, “This Magic Moment” by The Drifters’ heard playing in the background, Patrick and Brittany, 27, sprayed paint out of squirt guns to reveal the news. Pink paint means another girl is on the way, and blue paint means it's a boy.

So, was the paint pink or blue? Blue paint sprayed out of the squirt gun signifying a baby boy is on his way, which had both parents and attendees jumping for joy. After finding out the exciting news, Patrick ran to his father, Patrick Mahomes Sr, for a hug, and then jumped into the pool fully clothed to celebrate his happiness.

Just two months after the lovebirds tied the knot in Hawaii, they announced on Instagram that they are adding to their family of three. The post was captioned, "Round 2" and included an Instagram carousel of their 15-month-old baby girl, Sterling Skye, holding a sign that read, "Big Sister Duties Coming Soon."

"Sterling is such an athlete already. She's so cool, she's so calm that I just know, girl or boy, it's going to be the wildest child ever," Patrick told ChiefsWire. "Hopefully, Sterling teaches her or him the good ways and we can have a nice household at the Mahomes household. Brittany will have her hands full for sure."

The two started dating when Patrick was a sophomore and Brittany was a junior at Whitehouse High School in East Texas. They were friends for a year before Patrick gave Brittany a Valentine's Day card and rose. They quickly became high school sweethearts from that moment.

After eight years together, the long-time couple got engaged in September 2020 after Patrick's team won the Super Bowl. He proposed to his love on the same day he received his championship ring at Arrowhead Stadium. He got down on one knee in a VIP box in front of a sign that read, "Will You Marry Me?"

Their first baby was announced just a few weeks later and was born in February 2021. The couple said "I do" on March 12, 2022 in Hawaii surrounded by family and friends, with their baby girl, Sterling serving as their flower girl. And just two months later, the announcement of their second baby hit Instagram.
