The Real Housewives of Dubai cast member shared the awful news this week via a Twitter post. “So… having set off on our holiday and landing within 3 hours we were robbed… what was meant to be my daughter's end of gcse trip has turned into a nightmare… so much gone but we are all safe,” pointed out the reality star.

She went on to remind fans why who praise Dubai so highly. “We came home to the men still in our house… when people ask why we love dubai this is a reminder! You cannot beat the secure feeling we all have living there” she ended the devastating story with a frown face emoji.

Caroline Stanbury’s Fans Turned Against Her

The British-born socialite is mum to 3 kids daughter Yasmine and sons Zac and Aaron Habib with ex-husband Cam Habib. As she mentioned, they were meant to be celebrating Yasmine’s GCSE tests being complete (with honors of course). She and her husband Sergio Carrallo were rightfully freaked out.

Unfortunately, she was met with mixed reactions when she shared the news. “Not surprised,” admitted one fan.  “You told everyone you’re leaving on vacation & the 2 mo country itinerary - ppl are ready to rob you. Dont tell the world your plans until youre back home. Then you can talk ab where you were. And be careful with staff - inside jobs can happen while away.”

Another pointed out that she makes enough money to at least get ADT or some other similar security system. “I’m sorry this happened to you. Please stop posting when you’re leaving, where you’re going, and don’t pack high ticket items with you. Again, not blaming you. I am so happy you’re all safe! God Bless,” wrote another.

‘RHOBH’ Dorit Kemsley Had a Similar Incident

Stanbury isn’t the only housewife cast member to experience something like this. The current season of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills featured a horrible home invasion involving Dorit Kemsley and her children.

The incident was caught on her security camera. It showed two men breaking the glass to her home and entering. Kemsley filled in the missing bits including the fact that one of the two men held a gun to her head while screaming he would “kill her”.

She also revealed that about a million dollars worth of things were stolen while the reality star literally begged for her life and the life of her children. The conjoining factor between the two incidents… both women told their almost 1 million followers their entire itinerary and how long they would be gone.

Unfortunately for Kemsley, something didn’t align and the men who robbed her actual home (not her vacation rental) ended up showing up the night she got home and even worse (or a blessing in disguise) her husband PK Kemsley stayed in London a few days longer, so he wasn’t home when it went down.

Not Everyone Was So Vicious To Caroline Stanbury

Some of the 46-year-old followers were less harsh about the scary incident. “I'm very sorry this happened to you Caroline. Glad no one was hurt but sorry this happened during your family trip,” wrote a sympathetic follower.

One points out that Dubai is safe for a controversial reason. “You get your hands cut off if you’re caught stealing there. That’s motivation enough to keep yourself out of trouble.” But most people were confused about smaller facts that Stanbury shared in the post.

Caroline Stanbury’s Post Was Allegedly ‘Confusing’

It seems like no matter what, the trolls were ready to pounce on Stanbury. They have magically been able to see past the horrific nature of the event and pick apart her grammar. “Your first sentence was unnecessary, don’t you think?” Asked one troll and yes, they are tagging the reality star.

“Makes no friggin sense lady even in English,” wrote another. And lastly, because if we don’t cut ourselves off we could go all day. “What men were still in your house? Very confusing tweet?” Pretty sure she was referring to the robbers (that part was pretty clear).

That being said, this situation is sad and upsetting. Hopefully, Stanbury, Sergio, and the kids get back to Dubai real quick where they feel safe.
