Travis Scott's New $5.5M Car is Upsetting Astroworld Victims & Families

Travis Scott is getting called out by fans and foes alike for his latest tone-deaf millionaire purchase. The rapper has bought a brand new Bugatti for $5.5 million and in the words RHOBH P.K Kemsley, “it’s not a good look babe”.

The purchase of the luxury car is rubbing the victims and the families of the victims the wrong way. In particular, 9-year-old Ezra Blount’s family is disgusted by the purchase. Blount was trampled during the now infamous Astroworld concert.

Bob Hillard, the attorney for the Blount shared with TMZ that Ezra would still be alive today if it wasn’t for the rapper's mismanagement of the audience and not providing a safe space for concertgoers to enjoy live music.

Hillard read Travis Scott to filth noting that if he’d spent even a fraction of the cost of that car on proper safety measures, Blount would be enjoying summer 2022!

The rapper hasn’t commented on the new purchase of his Bugatti Veyron Chiron Super Sport. The car was purchased a few days ago and appeared parked outside the rapper's L.A. Brentwood neighborhood home before it was confirmed that the vehicle was a purchase and not some kind of luxury rental.

Unfortunately, while the ‘Sicko Mode” rapper is desperate to get on with his life, it just doesn’t work that way. He was involved in a tragedy that took the lives of people’s loved ones and injured many.

The rapper has pressed forward with trying to make things right in the past, but once he and his team realized that this was bigger than they thought, they became very tight-lipped on what the rapper planned to do moving forward.

This Bugatti is definitely something to want to have in your collection if you can afford it. It is one of 30 made and the starting price is $3.5 million. Travis Scott’s was a shocking $5.5 million because he, of course, customized his.

Travis shared a photo of the inside of his car on IG. It's a custom blue and has all the bells and whistles you would expect. While the car is an exciting purchase amongst many other exciting things that the rapper has experienced lately including the birth of his first son with Kylie Jenner.

There are still plenty of people wanting to see justice for what went down at Astroworld. Buying such an expensive car at this time was probably not the move.

But don’t worry about that because Travis put a bandaid on his feeling with a new car. Just wanted to remind you that 10 people died and countless others were injured while Travis stamped around on stage back in November.

He has maintained that from the stage he was unable to see that anything was amiss let alone how bad it actually was. Which we can’t discredit! Unfortunately, since the tragedy, the lawsuits have begun to pile up one after the other (isn’t this how class action lawsuits begin?).

Travis himself was allegedly so shooketh that he didn’t perform live again until the Day N Vegas festival in Las Vegas in September a significant amount of time later. He hasn’t announced any tours just a few shows here and there, sort of easing his way back in.

Some have accused the rapper of deflecting like crazy. He is doing the most in an effort to deflect from this big purchase and the concert tragedy overall. This week alone, he has given away a pair of $3k unreleased Nike sneakers to a random fan on the street… through a car window.

He also posted a pretty scandalous picture of his forever baby mama and sometimes girlfriend Jenner’s bare ass on IG. Not like it wasn’t anything we all haven’t experienced before from this family, but the timing had fans wondering what the rapper's agenda is as the lawsuit begins to pick up steam.
