Todd Chrisley Insists He Doesn't 'Need Anything' In Wake Of Guilty Verdict

Todd and Julie Chrisley are asking for all the prayers they can get and nothing else.
The reality TV star of “Chrisley Knows Best” is facing a possible future behind bars for evading taxes and fraud.
Todd and Julie were found guilty on 12 counts of bank and wire fraud, tax evasion, and conspiracy over a nine-year period.
The couple has denied all of the counts and maintain their innocence.
Todd & Julie Are Guilty Of Tax Evasion
During a new episode of their podcast, “Chrisley Confessions,” Todd said, “I want you all to know that the messages that we’re receiving, the mail … the gifts that people are leaving at our doors, the flower arrangements … all of this stuff is just overwhelming and very much appreciated.”
He continued saying that he and Julie “don’t need anything,” but if fans insist on giving them anything a prayer is the best gift.
The couple is doubling down in their faith in God.
“We still hold steadfast in our faith, and we trust that God will do what he does best because God’s a miracle worker,” Todd said. “We’re alive and kicking, and we appreciate all the support we have received from everyone.”
The Chrisley's Are Relying On God To Get Them Through This
Per reports, Todd and Julie were convicted of conspiracy to commit bank fraud, bank fraud, conspiracy to defraud the United States and tax fraud.
Julie was convicted of conspiracy to commit bank fraud, bank fraud, conspiracy to defraud the United States, and tax fraud. She was also charged with wire fraud and obstruction of justice.
Todd and Julie could each face up to 30 years in prison. Their sentencing will take place at a later date.
On Friday, June 17, Todd first broke his silence on the podcast.
“It has been a whirlwind,” he said. “Lot of moving parts, lot of things going on in our lives and a lot of seeing God’s movements right now.”
Todd explained that he and his wife are not allowed to speak about the trial and their upcoming sentencing; however, he did let fans into how they were doing emotionally.
“We wanted to let everyone know that it’s a very sad, heartbreaking time for our family right now,” Todd admitted. “But we still hold steadfast in our faith and we trust that God will do what he does because God’s a miracle worker, and that’s what we’re holding out for.”
It's A "Heartbreaking Time" For The Reality TV Family
Savannah Chrisley spoke out about her parent’s situation.
The recent events have taken a toll on Savannah, who took to Instagram to update fans and declare her solidarity with her family as they fight for justice.
“Hi there my Instagram family… it’s been a few weeks,” the former beauty pageant competitor began her lengthy message under a series of pictures showing her and her beautiful family.
She continued writing, “Before you continue reading, I would like to ask one thing of you…please be kind. This life is so cruel, and we’re doing the best we can.”
Savannah further stated that she would continue supporting her family while also fighting for justice for them and others that the system had failed.
She added that there was not much she could comment on legally at that moment and revealed her disappointment in feeling let down by God, despite her “relentless” prayers.
