Reba McEntire's A New Viral Sensation After Her Amazing CMA Performance

Legendary country music superstar Reba McEntire is by far one of the greatest entertainers of the past few decades. With a down to earth personal style and powerhouse vocals filled with soul McEntire knows how to keep audiences engaged and captivated. It's something she's been doing since the 1980's and her catalog of music has definitely influenced many of today's hottest country music stars. And in a testament to her staying power during her recent turn hosting this year's Country Music Awards McEntire proved once again why she's still the Queen of Country Music.

There's no denying McEntire's talent, charm and grace. For years she has provided many hits featuring lyrics that make her listeners feel exactly what she's singing about. And why wouldn't she? Especially since she's been influenced by some of the greatest Country Music artists that have ever graced a stage, including Merle Haggard, Dolly Parton and the legendary Patsy Cline. One of McEntire's biggest hits was a cover of Bobbie Gentry's 1969 song 'Fancy'. McEntire performed the song on her 1990 release Rumor Has It and the song became an instant classic with country music and pop fans. Even now it's one of the songs that has become synonymous with McEntire's vast catalog of music as well as a fan favorite that most people enjoy whenever she decides to sing it. And Thankfully for fellow celebs and fans alike, McEntire treated them all to a memorable performance of the hit song.

Celebrity Insider reports that at this year's Country Music Awards McEntire, who hosted the event, shut the entire place down with her performance of 'Fancy'. But she didn't simply rely on her vocals to get through this one. She brought true showmanship to remind everyone exactly why she is the Queen of Country Music.

When Reba McEntire took the stage she looked gorgeous with her signature red hair against a backdrop of purple and white lights. She wore a purple satin dress with white, ostrich feather sleeves. Reba started to sing the song and when she got to the part about her mother buying Fancy an expensive, red-satin, velvet-trimmed dress, Reba peeled off the purple garment and revealed a red dress underneath. The audience went wild and truly connected to Reba’s performance and the lyrics of the song.

Needless to say, Reba's fans completely ate up her performance, and it quickly went viral all over social media. One user wrote "We weren't ready.
