“Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Eva Marcille’s ex Kevin McCall is behind bars after allegedly assaulting a police officer and making terroristic threats.
According to court records obtained by The Blast, McCall was arrested for criminal damage to property, simple assault, obstruction of law enforcement officer, terroristic threats and disorderly conduct. He is currently being held on $9,500 bond.
McCall was in Georgia court today fighting Marcille for custody of their daughter, Marley Rae. Marcille has always had custody and recently moved to dismiss his case. She believes McCall is dangerous and doesn’t want her kid around him.
The reality star pointed out McCall had been arrested for domestic violence. She even accuses him of not paying a dime in child support.
Earlier today, McCall took to Instagram Live as he walked around the courthouse. A police officer approached McCall telling him to stop recording inside the court.
He tells the officer to take off his badge and fight him. McCall calls the police a “B-tch” and yells “take your badge off.”
McCall continues making threatening remarks inside the courthouse. He refuses to stop recording inside the building. Things clearly went south after McCall got off Instagram.
The arrest comes after McCall has been acting bizarre for weeks. He recently posted a cryptic message to Chris Brown that caused his friends to become concerned for his well-being.
He wrote to Brown, “@chrisbrownofficial deuces baby bro I always loved you... if you remember i ever said, just remember : Make the best Decisions.”
Many people reached out to McCall after reading his messages out of fear. He would later take to IG live to walk around shirtless and perform exercises on street sighs.
As The Blast first reported, McCall was recently hit with charges over a domestic violence incident.
He was charged with one count of ‘Inflict Corporal Injury to Spouse or Cohabitant’. McCall is facing up to one year in jail.
The charges stem from an April incident where McCall was arrested by the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department. The records show the alleged incident went down on January 14, 2019. The name of the alleged victim has not been released.
Marcille and McCall broke up in 2015. They share a daughter named Marley Rae.
Marcille has discussed having to take out restraining orders against McCall on “RHOA”. She has accused McCall of abusing her while she was pregnant with their daughter. She also discussed being in fear of him knowing where she lived. Marcille went on to marry her current-husband Michael Sterling.
She has spoken about alleged violence at the hands of McCall. She was quoted saying, “Domestic violence is very, very real. I went through domestic violence. I finally found the courage to come up and talk about it about a couple years ago about what I went through with Kevin. I feel bad for women that have to deal with it. And it's actually not a laughable matter; it's something that actually makes you feel so little so you don't want to talk about it, but it really sucks."
