“Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Erika Jayne will not be dragged into her husband’s $6 million court battle over an unpaid loan.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, a creditor of Jayne’s husband, Thomas Girardi, has informed the court they no longer wish to examine her finances.
The creditor was seeking to question Jayne under oath about her husband’s finances and her income. Girardi owes the creditor $6 million dollars and they have been trying to collect. He recently dropped $3 million to cover a portion of the debt. The payment appears to have led to them backing off Jayne.
Jayne was scheduled to appear in court on November 7. That hearing has now been taken off calendar.

Earlier this year, 79-year-old Thomas Girardi and his law firm Girardi Keese were sued for $15 million by a company named Law Finance Group.
Law Finance Group accused Girardi of refusing to pay back the $15 million loan on time. They even claimed Girardi originally agreed to use the Pasadena home he lives in with Erika Jayne as collateral in case he defaulted, the same home featured on “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.”
They claimed the money was instead “used to maintain Mr. Girardi’s lavish lifestyle and to keep his prominent law firm financially afloat.”
Girardi strongly disputed the allegations in the lawsuit and told The Blast, “The truth of the matter is this. I have not taken one penny from the law firm in the past three years. I have devoted everything to assist in the cases that we have here. Further, the money that was borrowed, we agreed to repay in approximately two weeks before the lawsuit. It is slanderous that the money was for my ‘lifestyle’ … every penny went for costs in cases that the firm is handling.”
Girardi allegedly only paid $10 million and was eventually hit with a judgment of $6 million. The lender then rushed to court trying to drag Jayne into it.
They wanted the judge to order the reality star to appear in court with her financial records. They believed she had information about Girardi’s assets to help their efforts collecting.
Law Finance Group recently informed the court Girardi had paid off $2,982,272.42 owed on the $6 million debt.
In newly filed court documents, Law Finance is withdrawing their motion seeking Jayne to appear in court with her bank records.
Girardi’s recent $3 million payment seems to have calmed down the legal battle. He is still on the hook for the remaining millions.
Erika is involved in another one of her husband’s legal battles. She was a named defendant in a separate lawsuit filed earlier this year.
Another lender named Stillwell Madison sued the couple for $3.4 million owed on a loan.
Stillwell claims to have loaned Girardi’s law firm $5,110,440.38 back in 2016. They were to be paid back from money made from the firm.
The lender wrote in court documents, “Mr. Girardi re-directed all or part of the proceeds, to which Stillwell was contractually entitled, to himself and his wife in order to sustain their lavish lifestyle and maintain their glamorous public image.”
Jayne isn’t the only “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star who was dragged to court. Dorit Kemsley and her husband Paul “PK” Kemsley finally ended a $1.2 million court battle. Kyle Richards’ husband Mauricio is facing multiple lawsuits accusing him of fraud over a real estate deal.
