President Donald Trump made an appearance at UFC 244, Saturday alongside both of his sons. Trump was on hand to watch Jorge Masvidal battle Nate Diaz. A passionate argument online has built up steam on whether or not he was booed when entering the fight.
One one hand, it is being reported that the president had been greeted by tons of boos. Many comparing the entrance to his experience at the World Series.
Videos surfaced online, recorded by several fans, that seem to back up that statement.
"Trump got the welcome he deserved today as he was greeted by protesters outside MSG and with loud boos inside as he entered for #UFC244," one person tweeted.
But, others are pointing to videos, including the UFC's original broadcast of the event as evidence he was NOT booed upon entering, in fact you can hear cheering for the president.

"Do not hear booing when President Donald Trump arrived for UFC 244 bout at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Saturday night." one person said.
How did Trump feel about it?
The president retweeted a post by the founder of Students for Trump, in which a he claimed a news agency created "the narrative that everyone was booing."
Trump responded with his catchphrase "Fake News!"
UFC president Dana White has been a Donald Trump supporter for a long time, even speaking at Republican National Convention in 2016.
Dana walked the president to his seat with his sons Eric and Donald Jr. along with House GOP leader Kevin McCarthy, Rep. Mark Meadows and Rep. Peter King.
“Nobody took us seriously. Nobody. Except Donald Trump. Donald was the first guy to recognize the potential we saw in the UFC," Dana White said previously of his friendship with Trump.

The fight venue was Madison Square Garden, and protestor gathered outside to voice their issues with the president. But similarly, depending on where you read the information, their were just was many supporters of the president outside the arena.
So did the President of The United States get booed in a crowd you would think has a base of his supporters?
Ultimately, the truth may be somewhere in the middle. If you listen closely, it sounds like the crowd wasn't entirely cheering or booing.

Donald Trump Jr. angrily took to social media regarding the booing incident, saying, "Media absolutely insisting UFC crowd hated Trump, Ed Henry calls them out, video and audio are on Ed’s side – The Right. "
In the article, the writer claimed, "American crowd of fight enthusiasts responded loudly to his entrance, and shared their reactions and videos of the crowd. There were wild cheers, loud applause, whistles, whoops and hollers."
Trump tweeted, "Walking into Madison Square Garden last night with @danawhite for the big @UFC Championship fight was a little bit like walking into a Trump Rally. Plenty of MAGA & KAG present. Great energy. Fantastic job Dana!"
On Sunday, Trump shifted his focus to the Impeachment issues, "The Democrats are Fixers, and they are working overtime to FIX the Impeachment “Process” in order to hurt the Republican Party and me. Nancy Pelosi should instead Fix her broken District and Corrupt Adam should clean up & manage the California forests which are always burning!" he said.
