NeNe Leakes Celebrates Her Late Husband On Father's Day

NeNe Leakes misses her dear late husband Gregg Leakes, who sadly lost his life to colon cancer in September 2021 after months of surgery.

The multi-faceted entrepreneur recently paid homage to the deceased star on Father's Day with a heartwarming Instagram post, proclaiming how much she loved her sweetheart.

The television personality posted a picture of late Gregg beaming at the camera and leaning on a pillar. He could also be seen wearing a blue patterned button-down shirt and glasses. She captioned the post with:

"Happy Heavenly Father's Day To THE BEST @greggleakes," adding, "We Love you and Miss You Soooo Much! Father's Day will NEVER be the same"

Gregg was loved by many who honored his memory with prayers and good words under NeNe's post. A fan called the late reality star "the king," while another stated that he was "so lovely and charming."

An avid "RHOA" supporter noted that Gregg was one of the best husbands on the real housewives franchise and another fan agreed, calling the icon the "realest husband" [sic] on the show.

Fans loved seeing Gregg with NeNe on TV, and they missed the deceased celebrity a lot as they felt like they had lost a dad when he passed.

Several months after his death, The Blast shared that NeNe returned to the dating scene and got into a new relationship that seemed to have been previously approved by him.

The 54-year-old actress told The Shade Room at the time that she was dating Nyonisela Sioh, a men's clothing designer who she also called a friend.

She mentioned that her love for Gregg would last forever, but mourning was admittedly challenging and depressing alone.

NeNe revealed that she and her late spouse had a sorrowful heart-to-heart before his death, and his last words to her were, "Be happy, keep smiling, and he who finds you has found a good one."

Nyonisela seemed to have found her just in time, and they went official on social media after being captured having a passionate PDA at his birthday party in Miami.

As the outlet revealed, the designer spent his birthday on December 17 with NeNe at Mr. Chow, where they had an intimate kiss as they were leaving.

The businesswoman donned an eye-catching leopard print suit to the celebration and held hands with the excited celebrant, who was seen carrying a stogey in his other palm.

The new couple was not bothered about the media attention on the spot as they smiled widely while exiting Mr. Chow.

They were also spotted dancing together and staying by each other's side at the party that night, showing how infatuated they were. 

It is worth knowing that NeNe and Nyonisela were initially introduced by Peter Thomas, who is familiar with the brilliant designer from North Carolina.

Before the notable presenter got involved with the fashion icon and shortly after her husband's passing, men made advances at her through her DM to comfort her.

She revealed so in her appreciation speech to supporters, who also showed her love as she mourned her beloved.

NeNe acknowledged others in the gratitude speech, including her associates and music icon CeeLo Green, before concluding with a shout-out to the male admirers in her DMs.

In her words, "Thank you everybody and all the gentlemen that have been in my DMs, thank y'all too."

NeNe's lover's estranged wife recently accused her of extra-marital affairs and filed a lawsuit against her. At the same time, NeNe was not keeping quiet as she debunked all the rumors, setting the record straight.

The Blast reported that Nyonisela's ex-wife Malomine Tehmeh-Sioh believed the "RHOA" star was romantically involved with her then-husband when they were still married.

Malomine claimed that NeNe was to blame for her failed marriage as she noted that the photos the TV star shared with Nyonisela majorly contributed to their broken marriage.

The allegations and lawsuit seem well-grounded, and it was filed in North Carolina, one of the few states that allows someone to sue a spouse's adulterous partner for the estrangement of love.

NeNe responded to the claims shortly after via an Instagram Live session, saying she was not a "husband stealer" and that nobody was interested in stealing another person's problems.
