Amber Rose Shares First Post With Newborn Son, Includes Breastfeeding Video

Amber Rose has been so busy taking care of her newborn son that she's yet to overload us with photos of him, until now. The 36-year-old posted her first adorable tribute to her weeks-old child with boyfriend Alexander "AE" Edwards on Saturday afternoon. Amber Rose made sure to include several pictures of the child, Slash Electric, as well as snaps with his brother, Sebastian. Fans were delighted to see that the social media influencer also included a video showing her breastfeeding the newborn.
Sharing several pictures of Slash wide awake, Amber showcased her family life at home with her boys. In one photo, the little man is touching foreheads with his music executive dad. The duo look so in love while lounging in bed. In another snap, Amber's 6-year-old son, who she shares with ex-husband Wiz Khalifa is seen cradling his little brother. Slash appears deep asleep while all bundled up in a smiling Sebastian's arms. "Slash & Bash ?????" Amber Rose captioned the sweet shot.
To her nearly 20 million Instagram followers pleasure, Amber Rose also included a video while feeding the baby. Smiling before she panned to the little one who was happily eating, Amber proudly displayed her bare breast. Praising the star for shining light on breastfeeding, several fans reacted with sweet comments. "Yes mama! It ain't easy, but you go with ya breastfeeding," one fan commented. "Such a bonding moment for mom and child. Glad you're experiencing it," replied another follower. Of course, she got some comments from fans who were happy with the shot for other reasons. "Lucky baby," stated one person.
Amber Rose gave birth to Slash Electric Alexander Edwards on Thursday, October 10 after what seemed like the longest pregnancy ever. Daddy shared the first snap of the baby after he was born. Holding him proudly, Alexander "AE" Edwards, who dyed his hair bright green prior to the birth, introduced the world to their son with a picture kissing his forehead. Days later, Amber Rose revealed she and Slash were home and relaxing after spending a few days in the hospital.
Weeks ago, she got even more intimate than her breastfeeding video by sharing several painful snaps moments before she gave birth. Laying on her back in the hospital bed with their gown on, Amber Rose captioned the shots, "Meanwhile this is my Family while I was having Contractions."
Her pregnancy wasn't an easy one. Early on, Amber Rose revealed she was suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum which caused her to experience extreme nausea and vomiting. She said that she could barely move or eat and she slept all day. Just days before giving birth, Amber Rose showed off her "big boy bump" and appeared to be frustrated that she was still pregnant. At one point, she declared that she was basically on bed rest.
This is the first child Amber Rose and Alexander "AE" Edwards share together. She announced they were expecting in April by posting a pic showing her getting a sonogram. The couple has been together since October 2018.
