Lara Saget, one of the daughters of late comedian Bob Saget, also celebrated Father’s Day with a throwback snap with the “Full House” star.
The former host of “America’s Funniest Home Videos” passed away at the Ritz-Carlton hotel room in Orlando, Florida in January of this year. A toxicology report found no drugs or alcohol in his system at the time of his passing. Unfortunately, an autopsy concluded that he died of a brain bleed due to blunt force trauma. Police have been unable to determine what he struck his head on that caused the fatal injury.
But that didn’t stop his family members and friends from thinking about America’s Dad on Sunday, June 19, as the world celebrated Father’s Day.

On Sunday, daughter Lara Saget posted a heartfelt tribute to her late father on her Instagram page.
“My dad wasn’t just my dad, he was my best friend,” she began. “He wore his heart. He didn’t hide it; he wasn’t afraid of love. My dad simply wanted to share laughter and love with this world.”
“I have noticed how scary it can be to love that big, to open so fully,” she continued. “It can be easier to be angry, fearful, negative. Maybe because love has an infinite quality, it is boundless.”
“My dad taught me that it doesn’t matter what life throws, how hard, how painful, how seemingly impossible,” she went on. “It doesn’t stop that love. He chose love, always.”
“I commit to doing the same,” she wrote. “The love is right here. And it’s my responsibility to give it to myself and to share by living in the love.”
“I love you infinitely, dad,” she concluded her message. “Happy Father’s Day.”

Florida Deputies Punished For Spreading The New Of Bob Saget’s Death
Her Father’s Day tribute comes a few days after the news that two Florida deputies have faced disciplinary action for leaking the news of Bob Saget’s death before his family was even informed of his passing.
According to the New York Post, deputies Emiliano Silva and Steven Reed are facing stiff penalties for spreading news of Saget’s death before they were being authorized to do so. The statement was released by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office earlier this week.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Office said that they were being “flooded” with media inquiries before they had even told his wife, Kelly Rizzo, or his daughters that he had passed away. Rizzo was still in California, as Saget had been performing a stand-up routine in Florida only hours before he passed.
Silva, one of the first responders to arrive at the scene, told his brother that the “How I Met Your Mother” narrator had passed away. His brother then posted the news that Bob Saget has passed away on Twitter.
Reed was off-duty at the time of Saget’s passing; however, he had been informed of the incident and told some friends about Saget’s death.
Several news outlets saw the tweets that had started to spread online and contacted the Orange County Sheriff’s Office for official confirmation of Saget’s death. Some outlets ran the story before homicide detectives had even had a chance to arrive on the scene.
At this time, it is not clear what penalties the two Florida deputies will face as a result of leaking the news of his death, as it has not been released to the public.
