Brazilian singer Larissa de Macedo Machado, alias Anitta has shown that being famous does not exclude you from doing strange things like any other person.

The 29-year-old rose to prominence after releasing the smash tune "Show das Poderosas" and has since gone on to earn several awards nods, including a Latin Grammy nomination.

While pursuing a new crush, Anitta found herself in a very unlikely situation that forced her to behave differently than she would have in a different setting. She has now disclosed that it involved her peeing on a stranger to treat a burn, describing it as one of the strangest things she has ever done.

During a recent visit to Kelly Clarkson's show, the singer recounted the pee incident in great detail. She explained that it occurred when she, the stranger, and his friends were driving home after a performance and had to stop over for him to urinate.

The stranger was peeing when he was apparently touched by an animal or bug, which produced a large burn on his flesh, causing him to panic and seek someone to urinate on his skin to stop the burn.

"I was getting so stressed," she recalled the moment. "And I said, 'Yo, if you don't shut the f— up… I'm gonna actually pee on your arm,' and he [gasped and] said, 'Celebrity pee is gonna be even better!'

Anitta said "OK" to the man, and they drove to an airport, so she could urinate on his arm in the bathroom.

"My security was making sure he was not looking at me, and I was peeing," she said. "And he was like, 'Target the burn! Target the injury!' And I was trying to target the injury. It was crazy."

"But he said it went away," she gushed, "He said it was only because it was my pee."

Meeting the stranger was more of a coincidence, as Anitta explained during the interview. She had no plans to meet him, but he came along with a guy that she met on TikTok whom she invited to the concert.

"There was this guy I found on TikTok one day in the city I was going to perform, and he was hot, so I sent him a message being like, 'Come over to my concert!'" the singer said.

The boys got intoxicated after the performance, which might explain why the stranger reacted in such a frenzied manner after being burnt by the animal. Peeing on him appeared to be nothing more than a means for Anitta to relieve her tension and maybe fulfill the stranger's demands.

Clarkson would subsequently mention the idea that peeing on a jellyfish sting might help stop the burn; however, experts have discredited the superstition as per an article from Healthline. "I'm not sure what the link is," "I don't know the connection," said Anitta. "But he was literally saying he needed someone to pee on him."

The story came up after host Kelly Clarkson asked the "Envolver" singer about a TikTok posted to her account back in February, where Anitta plays a game of two truths and a lie with fans. In the clip, she points to three statements: "I changed the definition of 'boss woman' in the Brazilian dictionary," "Kanye West is on my new album," and "I peed on a stranger's arm."

Why Anitta Told The Story

While the interview was a spill all about a lot of details going on in Anitta's life, the peeing story might never have come up not until Clarkson asked the "Envolver" singer about a TikTok posted to her account back in February,

In the clip, Anitta played a game of two truths and a lie with fans. "I redefined the meaning of 'boss lady' in the Brazilian dictionary," she said, "Kanye West is on my new album," and "I peed on a stranger's arm.

The singer then informed her host that she had the dictionary meaning of the Portuguese word "patroa," which roughly depicts "boss woman," modified since it previously referred to "the boss's wife," which she felt was disrespectful to women.

She added that West didn't appear as a featured artist on her "Versions of Me" album, released in April, implying that the statement about peeing on a stranger was true and prompting Clarkson to ask for more details.

'Versions Of Me'

"Versions of Me" is Anitta's fifth studio album and second trilingual album, which debuted on April 12, 2022, by Warner Records. The album was heralded by the tracks "Me Gusta" (with Cardi B and Myke Towers), "Girl from Rio," "Faking Love" (featuring Saweetie), and "Envolver," and "Boys Don't Cry."

The album is a reggaetón and power-pop mix with elements of electropop, EDM, alternative R&B, funk carioca, electro, and trap-pop. Since it premiered, the album has garnered positive reviews from critics and has been certified "Diamond" by Brazil (Pro-Música Brasil).

"Evolver," the album's fourth single, has gone on to become one of Anitta's most popular singles to date, reaching number 70 on the Billboard Hot 100 after a viral TikTok trend in March 2022.
