Kim Kardashian Shares More Details Of Her Failed Relationship With Kanye West

Kim Kardashian gets candid with more details about her failed relationship with Kanye 'Ye' West, revealing how non-intrusive her family was in her marriage.

The estranged couple tied the knot on May 24, 2014, and separated nearly seven years after in 2021 due to "irreconcilable differences."

Although Kim's relationship with the rapper received significant media attention, there seemed to be a lot more behind their blissful union façade.

The media personality recently mulled over her separation from Ye during the season finale of "The Kardashians." At the same time, she discussed her sister Khloé Kardashian's relationship with Tristan Thompson. 

BuzzFeed detailed that Kim stated that she and the other Kardashians-Jenners tend not to "meddle" in each other's affairs which she appreciated during her marriage to her ex-husband. In her words:

"I respect that no one came to me during my marriage and was like, 'Are you good?' Everyone let me have my own journey and see that on my own, and I appreciate that."

Despite being grateful at the time, she wondered when she should have "jumped in" to other family members' affairs and "be like, 'This isn't okay.'"

The mother-of-four then explained that if people really knew what her marriage was like to the Yeezy creator, they would be in awe of how long it lasted.

Even though people may question their relationship, she knew that experiencing her journey allowed her to try her best to make things work. The "KUWTK" star expressed:

"I can live with myself knowing that I tried everything humanly possible to make a situation work, and so I could walk away absolutely guilt-free."

Her revelations in the episode come a few weeks after she apologized to her family for how Ye treated them during their marriage.

She confessed that she was able to identify "the impact that [her] relationship" had on her household and promised to "never let that happen" again.

Kim did not give precise details about what she meant, but her statement showed there was more to her and Ye's marriage than the public eye met.

While she was declared legally single earlier in March, she still battled Ye in court, leading his outstanding lawyer to step down from the case against the 41-year-old.

Based on the legal documents obtained by The Blast, the hip-hop artist's divorce lawyer Samantha Spector filed to withdraw due to an "irreconcilable breakdown" in their attorney-client relationship. 

Not much information was released regarding why Ye was losing his best attorney; however, it was reported that one of his other lawyers from Pennsylvania would handle the ongoing case.

It should be noted that the "Yikes" musician previously hired Spector after making complaints about his ex-wife keeping his kids from him.

The KKW Beauty creator also accused him in February of regularly assaulting her since their separation, claiming that she was the "main provider and caregiver" for their kids.

She added that divorce was "difficult enough" on the youngsters, and her former spouse's "obsession" with "negatively and publicly" controlling and manipulating their "situation' only caused more pain.

Ye did not let her comments slide as he slammed her with a statement contradicting her claims of being the "main provider."

He also accused her of calling him a thief, putting security on him while playing with their son, and kidnapping their daughter on her birthday by not giving him the party's address.

The former couple did not seem to be getting along so well despite their divorce battles previously settling while Spector worked the case.

Kim's boyfriend Pete Davidson is getting closer to her four kids, which her ex-husband, also the father of her children, is not so enthusiastic about.

The Blast reported that Ye previously promised that Davidson would never meet his offspring; unfortunately, the opposite happened, and the comedian is bonding pretty well with the youngsters.

The "SNL" alum has been spotted on several occasions, hanging out with his girlfriend's kids, first in April with North and another time with Saint on one weekend.

A source revealed that Ye was deeply unsettled about the connection his children shared with Davidson as he did not imagine such would happen when he and Kim broke up.

On the other hand, the SKIMS founder was not so bothered about her beau bonding with her children, and she hoped they could all work together for the children's sake.
