Joe Gorga Defends Video Of Him Screaming At A Tenant Who He Claims Wants 'To Beat The System'

"Real Housewives" star and real estate mogul Joe Gorga, was recently caught ranting at one of his tenants, who was supposedly behind on rent for several years.

According to footage that found its way to the internet, the real estate mogul was seen arguing with the tenant while they both sat in their respective cars in a parking lot. Gorga then stepped out of his car and approached the tenant's car within seconds, and the situation quickly escalated into a furious yelling confrontation laced with profanities.

While the public has responded to the incident in a variety of ways, Gorga has lately come out to defend his conduct, accusing the defaulting tenant of doing everything to get around the system.

The "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star has now revealed that his angry reaction was not only spurred by the refusal of the tenant to pay rent but also because of the individuals attempt to get away with it.

"It's just an excuse to just beat the system. That's why I'm upset," Gorga, 42, said in a clip obtained by TMZ Wednesday.

"I just don't do well with people that don't do the right thing in life and don't hustle and don't work and don't try, and so I'm gonna stand by how I handled it."

Gorga also expressed that he desired for the rent defaulter to "to feel exactly the way he made me feel," adding that he "couldn't hold [his] anger in."

"You just don't do that," he said. "The first thing you do is pay for the roof over your head, and he's the type of guy that likes to take advantage and scam.

The three-minute clip of Gorga defending himself also delved into other details, revealing that the tenant owed him $89,000 in unpaid rent and that the man allegedly stopped paying three months into his lease, dating back to October 2018.

"You know what else got me mad is that the man owes me money, you'd think he'd answer the phone," he continued. "I've called this guy numerous times. [For] years, he's been avoiding me. [He] doesn't even have the decency to pick up the phone and talk to me."

However, in reports obtained by Page Six, the unidentified tenant has denied Gorga's claims that he owed such an amount, instead claiming that his debt to the real estate mogul only includes rent from January until now.

A review of the camera footage of the incident indicated that Gorga had something in mind for the tenant, featuring an onslaught of uncontrolled emotions that resulted in the confrontation lasting longer than a few minutes.

"F–king loser, f–king loser, pay your f–king rent, a–hole. Call me f–king Daddy, motherf–er, because I've been supporting you for four and a half years," Gorga screamed in the video.

"You had nowhere to live, and I gave you a f–king house," he added.

More words were exchanged until the resident said he was going to contact the authorities and obtain a restraining order against Gorga, which spurred the reality star to get in his car and angrily drive away.

Joe has been investing in real estate for over 20 years. He's even written a book about how to "make it" in the industry and runs a seminar called "Grow with Gorga" about how to replicate his success in the real estate industry.

Gorga's most profitable real estate venture these days is flipping houses for profit. He often broadcasts his flips to Instagram, complete with price tags, and claims he turns a profit of several hundred thousand dollars.

Alongside building houses and renting homes, fans are more associated with the reality star persona of Gorga as he regularly features on Bravo's "Real Housewives of New Jersey" with his wife, Melissa.

The couple is paid handsomely for their appearances on the reality series; however, Gorga's wife is paid more as one of the show's main cast.
