TV personality Sharon Osbourne has recently been very open about her husband Ozzy Osbourne‘s medical issues, including her recent reveal that he would undergo a major operation that would significantly impact his health.
Ozzy has suffered from ill health for the past few years and currently deals with Parkinson’s disease and a neck injury. However, according to Sharon’s most recent social media posts, Ozzy’s surgery was successful, and he is doing much better.

Sharon Osbourne Posted The Update On Social Media

After she openly shared that Ozzy was hospitalized and would undergo a very important surgery, many celebrities and fans poured in their support for the family. Sharon didn’t reveal what the operation was or what it was for, but according to her most recent posts, the surgery was a success.
On her Twitter, she posted a photo that read, “Our family would like to express so much gratitude for the overwhelming amount of love and support leading up to Ozzy’s surgery! Ozzy is doing well and on the road to recovery! Your love means the world to him.”
The former “The X-factor” judge also posted a photo of a younger Ozzy singing at the mic with his eyes closed and captioned it with “He’s feeling good!” This s a very good sign for fans and celebrities who were worried about his increasingly failing health.

Ozzy himself, aka The Prince of Darkness, also tweeted an update about his health for his fans. He wrote, “I am now home from the hospital recuperating comfortably. I am definitely feeling the love and support from all my fans and send everyone a big thank you for their thoughts, prayers and well wishes during my recovery.”
Many fans wished him better health and a speedy recovery in the comment section. Some comments read, “I hope you recover well!!!” “My thoughts are with you and your family, Oz. Get well soon.” Another fan wrote, “Feel better, Ozzy! Wishing a speedy recovery.”
Ozzy Recently Diagnosed With Parkinson’s Disease

Osbourne and Ozzy have been very open about his health issues recently. They even shared with fans when he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. Parkinson’s is a disorder that affects the brain, causing movement issues, stiffness, shaking, and difficulties with balance.
During an interview with RADIO.COM, Ozzy spoke about his diagnosis and said, “It’s not a death sentence… It’s a mild form of Parkinson’s at the moment. I’m not shaking. The doctor told me that I probably walk by 10 people a day who have got it and don’t even know they’ve got it. You don’t get a pimple on your forehead, you just start walking a bit funny I suppose.”
Osbourne also addressed his diagnosis during an appearance on Good Morning America. She said, “There are so many different types of Parkinson’s. It’s not a death sentence by any stretch of the imagination, but it does affect certain nerves in your body. And it’s like you have a good day, a good day, and then a really bad day.”
Ozzy Had A Bad Neck Injury

The rock star also deals with problems with his neck and movement after he was injured in an ATV accident in 2003. Ozzy spoke about the injury during an interview with Classic Rock, where he said he was “waiting on some more surgery on my neck” before he could resume his final tour, titled “No More Tours 2.”
He explained how much the injury had affected him and said, “I can’t walk properly these days. I have physical therapy every morning. I am somewhat better, but nowhere near as much as I want to be to go back on the road.”
