Comedian Jerry Seinfeld is back and he’s hungrier than ever!

He is co-writing and directing a new comedy for Netflix called “Unfrosted: The Pop-Tart Story.” Although the name of the feature film is enough to draw people in, the star-studded cast list is nothing to sneeze at!

Deadline shared the scoop on the latest casting announcement on Wednesday afternoon.

Along with Seinfeld, the current cast of the film includes “God’s Favorite Idiot” star Melissa McCarthy, “Linoleum” star Jim Gaffigan, “Trainwreck” star Amy Schumer, “The Undoing” star Hugh Grant and “Sonic the Hedgehog 2” star James Marsden.

The cast will also include “The Kindness Show” star Jack McBrayer, “Reno 911!” star Tom Lennon, “iGilbert” star Adrian Martinez, “Saturday Night Live” star Bobby Moynihan, “The Neighborhood” star Max Greenfield, “Dr. Death” star Christian Slater, and Sarah Cooper from “Sarah Cooper: Everything’s Fine.”

The film is set to take place in Michigan in 1963 and has been billed as a “tale of ambition, betrayal, sugar, and menacing milkmen.” The synopsis says “sworn cereal rivals Kellogg’s and Post race to create a pastry that will change the face of breakfast forever.”

Last year, Netflix won the rights to the film after a tight bidding race. It helped that Seinfeld has a close relationship with co-CEO Ted Sarandos. In 2017, Seinfeld and signed a deal with Netflix that was reportedly worth about $100 million dollars. The deal included his popular celebrity series “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee,” as well as his stand-up comedy specials, such as “Jerry Before Seinfeld” and “23 Hours to Kill.”

Last year, Netflix also acquired the rights to “Seinfeld” and will be able to stream episodes of the classic sitcom for five years.

Seinfeld and Spike Feresten wrote the upcoming Netflix comedy with Andy Robin and Barry Marder. Seinfeld, Feresten, and Beau Bauman will all produce the film, with Cherylanne Martin, Andy Robin and Barry Marder serving as executive producers.

Jerry Seinfeld Asks: 'Do You Prefer Toasted Or Untoasted?'

Later in the day, Jerry shared the Deadline article on his Twitter account. He tweeted, "Do you prefer toasted or untoasted? Frosted or “UNFROSTED”?

"No question FROSTED!!" one fan commented. "Not even a contest."

"Should have found a way to get Michael Richards, Jason Alexander, and Julia Louis Dreyfuss in there," another fan commented, plugging his "Seinfeld" costars.

"Wow, that's a stellar cast," another fan wrote. "Can't wait."

No release date for “Unfrosted: The Pop-Tart Story” has yet been announced.
