Former Bachelorette Andi Dorfman, has never been the one to shy away from airing her controversial opinions.

In a recent interview with ET, Dorfman, who featured in the tenth season of ABC's "The Bachelorette," expressed her dislike for the recent updates regarding the show.

One thing especially bummed her out about the upcoming season of 'The Bachelorette," and it's the news that there'd be two female leads: Rachel Recchia and Gabby Windey.

She shared that she wasn't on board with the decision, adding that it felt slightly sexist. Read on for more details on what she had to say and recent happenings on the show.

Andi Dorfman Says It Gives Her 'A Sexist Vibe'

At the launch party of a fellow Bachelorette's swimming line, Dorfman opened up to ET about the show's decision to have two female leads, stating that she didn't think it was a step in the right direction.

"I don't really love the fact that two women have to share the screen. I think we've progressed a little further. It's 2022."

She continued, "I want to be supportive because it's a franchise that literally put me here right now, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't bummed that it's two women. ... I don't know. It gives me a little sexist vibe there that I don't really love."

She, however, did muse about a future season of "The Bachelor" with two male leads. "I'd like to see two men go at it."

Despite her sentiments, she mentioned that she would tune in to the upcoming season to support the female leads. She also hoped that the show would give the pair a chance to forge their journey but wasn't sure things would play out that way.

She explained to ET. "I know all these Bachelorette leads and what it takes to be on screen and to hold your own on a show, and production, and cast mates. I have a lot of respect for those people."

She continued, "I just don't know why they didn't start with the guys as the guinea pig. I want each girl to have it for themselves. It is such an incredible thing. It's not to say it can't be shared, but again, I don't know."

Other Former Bachelorette's Hold Similar Opinions

Becca Tilley, the runner-up of the 19th season, shared similar sentiments as Dorfman. She worried about how this season might be portrayed and how it might affect the leads' chances of finding love.

"If they do it the right way, and they're not pitted against each other, I'm all for it," Tilley said to ET. "I think they know that's what we're all hoping for. I hope that they both find their love story."

She continued, "I hope that both of them end up having a beautiful wedding somewhere. Hopefully, it's not a double wedding. Hopefully, they don't have to do everything together, but I'm really excited for both of them."

Meanwhile, another member, Fletcher Jojo, lauded the show's decision to cast two leads.

"I'm very excited about this because one of the most incredible things that [Tilley and I] did as friends together was going through that experience. So to not have to date the same guy and go through that experience and to have that together is going to be so much fun for them. I also think the banter you have with your best friend makes for incredible TV, so I'm excited about this."

Andi Dorfman Also Shared Of Her Engagement

Aside from her opinions about the show, Dorfman also opened up about her fiancé, adding that she was thrilled to have found the love of her life.

"It took 35 years and I finally found the one. I wouldn't trade it for anything. He's awesome. He's such a good guy. I'm excited," she gushed. "I feel relieved. I found the right guy. It didn't matter how long it took. Just find the right person."

What To Expect In The New Season?

The upcoming season, which is set to debut July 11, recently released a teaser featuring the two leads, Recchia and Windey, who were more than excited to meet their future husbands.

Bring them on!" Recchia exclaimed in the clip, with Shania Twain's catchy tune, "Man! I Feel Like a Woman," playing in the background.
