Giant broadcaster Duane Kuiper presented Amy with flowers during Sunday’s game as an apology, saying, “Want to make a correction from what I watched yesterday on the Fox broadcast. The broadcast implied that Kurt Busch threw out the first pitch yesterday, which was not true.”

“Kurt Busch threw out the first pitch on Thursday. It was Amy Schneider from Jeopardy! fame who threw out the first pitch on Pride Day yesterday. I just wanted to make sure she got her due,” Kuiper added.

One user posted, "I love you Kruk & Kuip! Thanks for giving props to @Jeopardamy for throwing out the first pitch yesterday, after @MLBONFOX purposely edited it from their broadcast. #pride #SFGiants."

Amy commented on the post noticing her omission, saying, “Well, that’s Fox for you.”

"Thanks for bringing this up," another user tweeted. "Not only did they imply that a NASCAR person threw out the first pitch, they didn't acknowledge the fact that both the Dodgers and Giants were wearing Pride hats. I know Kruk & Kuip would have!"

Still, not everyone was convinced that Fox Sports was trying to shade Amy. One user wrote, "Ma’am national broadcasts never show first pitches the only reason they showed the NASCAR driver from the day before was because it was an opportunity to promote the race that fox covers. There was no intended shade to Amy."

Amy Doesn't Care About That... Because She Has A New Kitten!

In the same post, Amy revealed that she was excited for something bigger than throwing out the first pitch. She recently welcomed a kitten named Ladybug to join her growing family. She described calico as a "very social and confident" Calico cat.

On Monday, Amy followed up on her photo of her new kitty, writing, "I don’t think I truly understood the word 'smol' until our new kitten came home."
